  • Patent number: 11782384
Abstract: There are provided volume holograms and combinations of lenticular lenses and holograms in particular for security applications. In embodiments, a volume hologram comprises a holographic medium (102) including a first optical interference structure which, upon illumination, replays a first image (110); wherein the first image includes a lenticular lens layer (111) including an array of lenticules and a lenticular image layer (113) including first (114) and second (115) interlaced images corresponding with the array of lenticules.

  • Publication number: 20230256215
Abstract: A sinus dilation instrument useful with a navigation system and including a handle, a rigid probe, a balloon, and an identifier device. The probe extends from the handle, forms a curved segment, and carries the balloon. The identifier device is programmed to generate a signal indicative of an instrument identification assigned to the instrument, and is a frontal, maxillary or sphenoid sinus instrument. The signal is formatted to be recognized by an IGS. Once connected, the IGS recognizes the instrument and can retrieve information indicative of a spatial location of the balloon, for example via an instrument tracking device. A surgeon can “plug and play” the sinus dilation instrument with the IGS to perform a procedure.

  • Patent number: 11602618
Abstract: The invention relates to an infusion catheter device. This catheter device 10 has an elongate, substantially tubular shape defining a longitudinal axis, a distal end (D) and a proximal end (P), configured to be introduced into a conduit (50) having an inner wall (54) and an outer wall (56) and comprising at least one partial or total obstruction (60) or occlusion to be treated, said device comprising, at its distal end (D), one or more infusion orifices (16, 18, 20, 22) for an infusion liquid (LI), and, upstream from the one or more infusion orifices, at the proximal side (P) of the infusion catheter (10), at least one obturating element (70) for temporary obturating, configured to treat said obstruction (60) or occlusion and to perform the infusion of the infusion liquid (LI) downstream from the obturating element (70) and in the obturating position. This device is suitable in particular for cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology.

  • Patent number: 11443416
Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for image content extraction. Some embodiments include extracting contextually structured data from document images, such as by automatically identifying document layout, document data, document metadata, and/or correlations therebetween in a document image, for instance. Several embodiments include extracting contextually structured data from table images, such as gridded and non-gridded tables. For example, the contents of cells may be extracted from a table image along with structural context including the corresponding row and column information. Many embodiments are directed to generating and utilizing a document template database for automatically extracting document image contents into a contextually structured format. Several embodiments are directed to automatically identifying and associating document metadata with corresponding document data in a document image to generate a machine-facilitated annotation of the document image.

  • Publication number: 20210025589
Abstract: A staged gas injection system for a flare tip that can discharge waste gas into a combustion zone is provided. The staged gas injection system includes, for example, a first gas injection assembly and a second stage gas injection assembly. The first gas injection assembly is configured to inject a gas (for example steam or a gas other than steam) at a high flow rate and a high pressure into the flare tip or the combustion zone. The second gas injection assembly is configured to inject a gas (for example, steam and/or a gas other than steam) at a low flow rate and a high pressure into the flare tip or the combustion zone. A flare tip including the staged gas injection system is also provided.
