    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method for manufacturing a curved hose. The method is comprised of the steps of (a) forming a hose assembly, the hose assembly comprising: (i) an innermost layer of a halogenated polyolefin rubber; (ii) a polyester reinforcement overlaying the innermost layer, the reinforcement having disposed on its surface an RFL adhesive comprising a chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber; and (iii) an elastomeric cover overlaying the braided reinforcement; (b) cutting the hose assembly into hose lengths; (c) shaping the hose lengths into predetermined curved hose shapes; and (d) curing the curved hose shapes.
