    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for ambient sound enablement in headsets are disclosed. In one example, an ambient sound signal from a microphone is received. A pre-determined interrupt condition is identified from the ambient sound signal. The ambient sound signal is output at a headset speaker responsive to identifying the pre-determined interrupt condition.
