Abstract: An invention is provided for mobile radar assisted traffic enforcement. In one embodiment, a traffic control vehicle is disclosed that includes a driving station capable of providing directional and speed control for the traffic control vehicle. The traffic control vehicle also includes a positioning system device, such as a GPS device, a radar system, and a camera system. Further included within the traffic control vehicle is at least one traffic monitoring station having a monitoring client, such as a laptop computer, in communication with the positioning system device, the radar system, and the camera system. The monitoring client displays a visual image of the target vehicle, the current speed of the target vehicle, and the current location of the traffic control vehicle.
