  • Publication number: 20240129259
Abstract: A durability assessment system may receive a request, from a computing system, for a durability index describing an entity. The durability assessment system may determine the durability index based on information about the resource usage by the entity, such as a resource availability score or a resource allocation score. The durability assessment system may compare the obtained resource availability score and resource allocation score to ranges associated with a set of durability indices. Based on the comparison, the durability assessment system may determine a durability index for the entity. The durability index may indicate an ability of the entity to return accessed resources. In some cases, the durability assessment system may provide the durability index to an allocation computing system that is configured to determine whether to grant access to resources based on the durability index.

  • Publication number: 20240119205
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for recommending design changes in designing a digital integrated circuit. An analysis of the digital integrated circuit being designed is performed, where the result of such an analysis involves violations being identified and stored. A stored violation, such as a cross-domain, cross-hierarchy and multi-cycle violation, may then be analyzed to identify a root cause of the violation using a rule. Such a rule may be used for triaging various failures in the cross-domain, cross-hierarchy and/or multi-cycle violation of the digital integrated circuit. A design change in the design of the digital integrated circuit may then be recommended based on the identified root cause of the violation. In this manner, the root cause of failures are effectively identified in the design of digital integrated circuits using an offline analysis of cross-domain, cross-hierarchy and/or multi-cycle violations using a rules-based approach.

  • Publication number: 20080066042
Abstract: Existing text output from a design rule checker is put in appropriate input format, and automatically displayed as text within a design tool using existing design tool capabilities, such as highlighting, zooming, and drawing box-regions. A graphical display of the output of the rule checker includes the informative text. Design rule violations are listed in a manner in which they can be individually selected. The output is displayed on a unique software program layer within the design tool so as to not effect or make any permanent changes to the original design file. The layers can be safely deleted when no longer in use.

  • Publication number: 20070055021
Abstract: Disclosed is a polyethylene composition. The composition comprises single-site multimodal resin A and single-site multimodal resin B, wherein resin A differs from resin B in molecular weight, in monomeric composition, in density, in long chain branch concentration or distribution, or in combinations thereof. Disclosed is also a method for making the polyethylene composition. The method comprises polymerizing, in the presence of two or more single-site catalysts, ethylene or its mixture with a C3-C10 ?-olefin to form a first multimodal resin and continuing the polymerization in the presence of the same catalysts but in a different hydrogen concentration, in a different monomer composition, or at a different temperature to form a second multimodal resin.

  • Publication number: 20060123364
Abstract: An improved solution for designing and/or evaluating a circuit is provided. A rule violation can be detected in design data for the circuit and a prediction can be generated based on an adjustment to the design data. For example, multiple predictions can be generated based on an adjustment window for an adjustable parameter in the design data. The predictions can be displayed to a user, who can determine a desired modification to the design data. The modification can be implemented by the user and/or automatically implemented by a circuit design tool.

  • Publication number: 20050133204
Abstract: An energy recovery ventilator wherein two of the air flow openings are in direct communication with either the fresh air space or the stale air space. The energy recovery ventilator has a housing with at least a first face panel holding a heat exchange device. The housing includes two air flow openings in the first face panel of the housing, in direct communication with the stale air space, and two other air flow openings in the housing in communication with the fresh air space through duct pipes. Alternatively, the first two air flow openings are in direct communication with the fresh air space, and the other two air flow openings are in communication with the stale air space through duct pipes. The energy recovery ventilator also includes a hinged bar mounting system and a control system. The features of the present invention facilitate ease of installation.

  • Publication number: 20050001041
Abstract: A cargo closure for sealing a cargo item such as a piece of luggage in a closed condition is disclosed. The cargo closure comprises a permanently closable tie and a data carrying member which may be formed as an integral plastics molding. The tie includes a strap and a base member. The strap includes barbs which engage a flexible pawl member located within a hole through the base member through which a free end of the strap is inserted and tightened after being attached to the cargo. The data carrying member may carry a person's name and address and is foldable to selectively to conceal or expose those data, and it may also carry an alphanumeric string or a bar code for identification purposes. Other embodiments of the invention may include strips of conductive material in the tie and base member which are connected to a smart card attached to the data carrying member for communicating with electronic equipment on the cargo item.

  • Patent number: RE45280
Abstract: A segmented transformer coupled plasma (TCP) coil is provided as a source for generating a uniform plasma in a plasma reactor. The segmented TCP is divided into two or more segment coils which, when connected to an RF source, produces a circulating flow of electrons to cause a magnetic field in the plasma. Because the segmented TCP employs multiple segment coils, a plasma is generated that is more spatially uniform than the plasma produced by a monolithic coil. This is implemented using a power distributing component that allows the RF current to be distributed in the segment coils such that a uniform plasma density can be obtained in an area spanned by the coils. For instance, variable shunts, switchable shunts, and disconnect switches can be used to vary the RF currents in the individual coils.
