  • Publication number: 20130054422
Abstract: The invention is a location and event-based mobile commerce system and method, wherein a geo-fence is placed around an event such as a concert or sporting event, and products and services tailored to that event and/or the event's location are offered to users that come inside the geo-fence, via an online/virtual store.

  • Publication number: 20060176365
Abstract: The present invention features an online system to resolve disputes. The process begins when a client calls to schedule a case. The case manager assigns a case number and sends e-mail to the participants. The parties upload or FAX in their case documents. The mediator and the participants review the case documents before the conference. The mediator and participants log into the videoconferencing program. The mediator introduces parties and provides instructions on how the conference is to be conducted. If there is a technical failure, the case manager will try to resolve the problem or reschedule the conference. The mediator hears the case and uses the online case file system, to guide the participants to an amicable resolution. If there is not settlement, the parties may agree to arbitrate. The parties may agree upon binding or non-binding arbitration. If the case is resolved, the mediator or arbitrator confirms a settlement and the case manager notifies accounting to bill the parties.

  • Publication number: 20050187884
Abstract: The process begins when the merchant applies for a seal (Trustmark). The merchant fills out an application and if approved is granted a seal. The merchant is provided with coding to display the seal on their website. The consumer (or other entity) can file a complaint by either using the seal on the merchants website or through the complaint filing process on our website. Once the complaint is filed, there are two rounds of negotiation, using a combination of e-mail and our website resources, between the consumer and merchant to try and resolve the problem or dispute. If there is no resolution, a mediator is brought in to help the parties come to a settlement. There are two rounds of mediation and if the problem or dispute is still unresolved, the mediator will review the case and make an arbitrated decision in favor of either the consumer or merchant.

  • Patent number: 4098923
Abstract: Silicon dioxide is pyrolytically deposited by the reaction of silane with oxygen on vertically mounted substrates in an evacuated system. A standard diffusion furnace equipped with a furnace tube which is vacuum tight is used. Injection tubes having multiple injection ports are positioned within the furnace tube to distribute the silane and the oxygen uniformly across a plurality of substrates which are positioned perpendicular to the furnace tube axis in a boat covered with a perforated shroud. The process is particularly useful in providing for the low temperature deposition of uniform layers of silicon dioxide on silicon wafers to be used in the fabrication of semiconductor devices.
