  • Publication number: 20240093611
Abstract: The invention relates to a fan blade (3) made of composite material the fibrous reinforcement of which comprises first strands (12) having a first stiffness, second strands (13) having a second stiffness and third strands (14) having a third stiffness lower than the first stiffness and greater than the second stiffness, the blade comprising a first portion (15) comprising only first strands (12), a second portion (16) comprising only second strands (13) and a third portion (17) which is located between the first and second portions (15, 16) and which comprises both first, second and third strands (12, 13, 14); there is a gradual transition of properties at the interface between the different portions (15, 16, 17).

  • Publication number: 20090234785
Abstract: A system for exercising a representation employing relationships among a plurality of input values to indicate solutions includes: an output controller unit coupled with the representation and presenting output values in response to receiving selected solutions from the representation; and an input controller unit coupled with the output controller unit and with the representation. The input controller unit presents a succession of the input values to the representation. The input controller unit receives indication of the output values from the output controller unit. The input controller unit selects the succession of input values in response to convergence by the output values.

  • Patent number: 4228929
Abstract: This invention provides for the dispensing of beer from a keg by gravity. A stand is detachably connected with the upper end of the keg, and the keg is then turned upside down. The stand supports the keg with the lowermost end of the keg spaced above the floor or ground or other surface with enough clearance under the keg for a person to reach under the keg to operate a valve which is located in the lowermost end of the keg when a keg, made for use with conventional tapping equipment, is to be used in an upside down position. The stand preferably folds when not in use and can be detachably secured to the keg without the use of tools.
