Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for installing software on a computer. In one aspect of the present invention, a method is provided that includes building a disk image from requested software components distributed over a network.

Abstract: A canal-restoration system and method has a processor tank (1) that includes a screen (5) vertically above a soil accumulator (6) and vertically below a water collector (4) near a top portion of the processor tank. Waterway sludge pumped from canals is conveyed downward in a sludge inlet (7) onto a disperser (14) and into the soil accumulator. Below the sludge inlet, soil (15) in the waterway sludge settles downwardly for dump or conveyance removal. Also, below the sludge inlet, settled water (16) circulates upwardly through the screen to the water collector at a top portion of the processor tank for conveyance back to the canals as screened-clear water (17). The screen preferably has upwardly progressive fineness of a plurality of three or more screens. A downward settling action keeps the screen unclogged and easily cleaned.

Abstract: A completely disposable litter container for cats and other household pets having a box with a bottom (6), four side walls (2a,b,c,d) and a moisture-impermeable bag (7) secured therein for holding litter material. The bag (7) may be pre-filled with litter material (8) prior to sale or after sale prior to use. An optional cover (3) is provided to fit within the side walls (2a,b,c,d) over the bag (7) to secure the bag in place during shipment and storage. The side walls (2a,b,c,d) of the pet litter container (1) are preferably tapered and slant outward from the bottom (6) of the container so that multiple litter containers can nest within each other and stacked for easy shipping and storage. To use the litter container, after the cover (3) is removed, the bag (7) is opened and folded over the side walls (2a,b,c,d) of the litter box (1). After use when a pet owner desires to dispose of the litter container, the bag can be closed and secured by tightening and tying a drawstring (11) at the top of the bag.

Abstract: A valve for controlling venting of excess gas from a diving suit includes a alve body housing first and second rubber check valves arranged in series. A control knob is rotatable on the valve body to selectively open or close outlet ports for venting gas from between the check valves and to actuate a member to selectively either hold the first check valve closed or to allow it function.
