  • Patent number: 10352209
Abstract: A primary housing carries an air/oil separation element. A valve member extends into a throat of the element. A secondary housing forms a regulator chamber and an atmospheric chamber. A partition of the secondary housing delimits and fluidly seals the atmospheric chamber from the regulator chamber. The partition is moveable in opposite axial directions responsive to a change in a pressure differential between the atmospheric chamber and regulator chamber without the use of a spring. The valve opens into and is in fluid connection with the regulator chamber. The secondary housing is carried by the primary housing. Alternatively, a fluid port can open up out of the secondary housing and the valve not open into the regulator chamber.

  • Patent number: 7674307
Abstract: A self supported cylindrical corrugated filter. The corrugations of the filter define a first and second end. Two arcuate side walls join the first and second end. The filter has a substantially planar front surface and a substantially planar rear surface. The front and rear surfaces extend the length of the filter. The arcuate side walls have a plurality of overlapping folded flaps. Each one of the plurality of flaps is joined to at least one adjacent flap from the plurality of flaps to form the self supported filter.

  • Patent number: 6709479
Abstract: An air precleaner for mechanically removing particulate contaminants from an enclosed environment includes a peripheral air intake manifold that is in communication with the inlet port of a mechanical separation unit, and a central exhaust port that is in communication with the air output port of the mechanical separation unit. The precleaner can be inserted into or onto a vacuum system from which airborne particulate matter is to be removed. The precleaner includes a container which may be a two part container formed of a fitting assembly and a canister for the collection of particulates. The canister itself may be divided into a top and a bottom, compartment by a flange extending outwardly around the outer edge of the mechanical separation unit. Particulate matter collects in the bottom compartment of the canister, which can be periodically removed from the rest of the precleaner to dispose of the accumulated particulates.

  • Patent number: 5178760
Abstract: A filter device including a separable housing and cannister-like means, with the improved filter element retained in the latter. The filter element being an elongated tapered strip having a predetermined transverse dimension at its midsection generally equivalent to the diametral measurement of the interior of said cannister and the initial configuration of the tapered sides being equated to the various chordal dimensions of the interior of the cannister-like means integrated with the folds of the filter element, thereby providing a filter element of controllable increased filtration area.
