Abstract: A battery operated lighting device is provided for removable attachment to the underside of the pivoted lid of a top-loading ice chest. When the lid is raised, the light is automatically activated by a position-sensing switch. The device is comprised of a holding bracket and a housing rotatively and removably held by the bracket. When removed from the holding bracket, the housing can function as an ordinary flash light.
