  • Publication number: 20060240898
Abstract: A drive coupling hub (60) includes a body (120) and lugs (126) that extend radially from the body (120) and are engageable with a primemover (54) of a primary power source (14). The lugs (126) have a fastening lug (80) that includes a radially extending bore (82). A bearing (88) is set within the bore (82). A setscrew (90) extends within the bore (82) and applies pressure on the bearing (88) to engage the drive hub to a shaft (58) of a secondary power source (16).

  • Publication number: 20060237962
Abstract: A tool is provided to retain a fitting component and a tube gripping device prior to assembly of the fitting and tube gripping device to a conduit end. The tool has a retaining portion that is adapted to retain the fitting component and the tube gripping device on the tool as a single assembly. The tool also protects the fitting component, the tube gripping device, and the conduit end after the fitting component and the tube gripping device are assembled to the conduit end. The tool has a protective portion that is adapted to at least partially cover at least one of the fitting component and tube gripping device after the fitting component and tube gripping device have been assembled to the conduit end.

  • Patent number: 6697365
Abstract: The bandwidth of a group of Internet users, called listeners, is pooled, and that bandwidth is employed to broadcast a data stream, substantially concurrently, to those listeners. A broadcast manager coordinates the connections between the originator of the data stream and the listeners. The originator divides the data stream into a number of channels. Each channel is transmitted over a tree of interconnected listeners. A given listener in a given tree receives that channel from its parent in that tree, and retransmits the channel as it is received to its children in that tree. Each listener is present once in each tree, so the listener receives each channel once. Listeners combine the incoming channels to reproduce the originator's data stream. The result is that almost the entire transmission bandwidth required for the broadcast is provided by the listeners. In some embodiments, a given listener is required to transmit no more data than it receives.

  • Patent number: 6325971
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for disbursing ozone throughout a poultry house in order to disinfect the same and to reduce the concentration of pathogens found within the poultry house. An ozone generator is associated with the poultry house and ozone produced by the generator is directed through a lower main duct that disburses ozone upwardly through litter disposed on the poultry house floor. In addition, the same generator directs the produced ozone through an upper main duct and ozone is disbursed from conduits leading from the upper main duct into the air.
