  • Publication number: 20150163311
Abstract: Systems and methods deliver the opportunity for audience members to fully engage their contacts and combine television entertainment with social media activity that is trackable. A participant can register their “social vote” by signing up to a fan distribution campaign. The participant can share the campaign into their social networks. The act of sharing the campaign creates a trackable digital object unique to that participant that is injected into the participant's social network. As the participant's friends, connections, family, etc., interact with the trackable digital object, the activity is traceable to the participant and the participant's influence over their network can be measured and rewarded even across multiple social media channels or other distribution channels. In the social voting context, the participant can be rewarded based on the number of votes the participant collects across their social network channels, for example, as the participant's friends engage in social voting.

  • Publication number: 20150161648
Abstract: System and methods for capturing, managing, and triggering user journeys is provided. The system is configured to enable participating individuals (e.g., a user) to generate and deliver trackable digital objects. The digital objects can be associated with enterprises, goods, services, etc. Each object can be traced by the system over a user journey, for example, as the digital object is referred through a user's social connections, to capture rich metadata. Each interaction with the digital object can be tracked by the system and the captured data attributed to the originating user, intermediate users, among other users and entities. The system provides accurate and clear measurement of influence on any one of the originating users and downstream users who interact with the digital object. In some implementations, the tracked data can be used to trigger additional processes based on action events associated with the digital object.

  • Publication number: 20060230667
Abstract: An apparatus for attracting fish includes a light source for emitting a green light. The light source is disposed within an enclosure which is removably attached to a rigid structure at a predetermined distance above a water surface and includes a diffuser capable of passing the emitted light therethrough. The light source is electrically connected to a power source capable of supplying 120 volts AC. Control switch disposed intermediate the light source and the power source selectively controls supply and termination of the voltage to the light source. The emitted light penetrates the diffuser and the water surface and is transmitted to a predetermined distance below the surface of water.

  • Patent number: 4267686
Abstract: A lawn mower comprising a plurality of flexible filament cutter elements carried on a continuous or endless driven belt. The lawn mower includes a plate-like frame having an arcuate front end formed as a portion of a perfect circle, on the underside of which is mounted a plurality of driven pulleys. A drive motor having a drive pulley is mounted on the frame, in a position to the rear of the driven pulleys. A drive belt is operatively mounted around the driven pulleys and around the drive pulley on the motor for driving the driven pulleys. The endless belt which carries the flexible filament cutter elements is mounted around the driven pulleys, whereby when the driven pulleys are rotated by the drive belt, the belt carrying the flexible cutter filaments is moved around the arcuate front end of the mower frame, and the filament cutter elements are moved outwardly by centrifugal force, for cutting engagement with grass and other vegetation, with a flail type cutting action.

  • Patent number: 4023334
Abstract: A mower using two knives which counterbalance one another and which can be removed from, and replaced in, the machine manually by an operator positioned behind the cutter bar: and which can operate throughout an arc of the cutter bar from substantially vertical above the horizontal to substantially vertical below the same; said knives and their co-operational components being protected from extraneous matter with the exception of the essentially exposed shearing elements.
