  • Publication number: 20170251720
Abstract: A pipe is disclosed. The pipe has an elongate body having an inlet opening and a mouthpiece with an aperture. An internal bore is provided within the elongate body connecting the inlet opening and the mouthpiece aperture. The internal bore has a bolus chamber with an inlet orifice aligned with the inlet opening and an exit orifice aligned with the internal bore opposite the inlet orifice. The inlet orifice has a smaller diameter than the exit orifice. The pipe is also self-extinguishing. A pipe with a cavity for holding combustible material which has inlet and exit orifices that create a venturi effect when the pipe is in use is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20050199175
Abstract: A luminous antenna topper includes a luminous ornamental element which is capable of being secured to the antenna of a vehicle, is energized by ambient light, and glows in the dark once energized. The ornamental element can be hollow or solid. Solid ornamental elements include a centrally disposed bore sized to frictionally engage the antenna and can be made luminous by incorporation of phosphorescent powder in the base material, or by incorporating an outside layer of phosphorescing material. A hollow ornamental element includes a plurality of support members attached to the interior thereof to define an aperture, and can be made luminous by incorporation of phosphorescent powder in the base material, or by incorporating an outside layer of phosphorescing material. The antenna topper can be in the form of sports balls, sports helmets, expressioning faces, animals, action figures, etc.

  • Patent number: 4068748
Abstract: Disclosed is an overrunning clutch particularly adapted for "holdback," stand-by drive and "creep" drive applications. A one-way clutch means, preferably in the form of a sprag clutch provides selective drive between a normally driven member and a normally passive member. The "passive" member may be retained against any rotation or may be driven at any speed less than that of the normally driven member. In the illustrated embodiment the normally driven member comprises a sleeve adapted to accept a shaft. The sleeve is drivingly connected to the outer race of the one-way clutch. The inner race of the overrunning clutch is fixed to a housing for the assembly and serves as the passive drive member. Means are provided thereon for connection to a stationary member or an auxiliary drive. The passive member is supported on the normally driven member by a pair of bearing means one on either side of the one-way clutch.
