Abstract: A submersible device (2) for deploying or retrieving autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), the submersible device comprising: two or more platforms (130) arranged in a stack (3a, 3b), wherein each platform is configured to carry two or more of the AUVs; a port (300, 310); and a transfer mechanism (200) comprising a transfer device (210) arranged to load or unload the AUVs onto or from the platforms, and an actuator arranged to move the transfer device between the platforms and the port in order to transfer the AUVs between the platforms and the port.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and software for sensitive data handling frameworks for user applications are provided herein. An exemplary method includes receiving subsets of structured user content consolidated into associated flattened representations, the associated flattened representations having a mapping to the structured user content and accompanied by at least lengths and offset information relating to the mapping. The method includes individually parsing the subsets of structured user content to classify portions as comprising sensitive content corresponding to one or more predetermined data schemes and, for each of the portions, identifying an associated offset and length for the portion relating to the subsets of structured user content, and indicating at least the associated offset and length to the user application for marking of the sensitive content in a user interface to the user application.

Abstract: A system for providing an audio interface at a mobile device is provided. The mobile device includes an interface programmed detect a loudspeaker system. The mobile device presents, via a user interface, a display screen to receive user input of sweet-spot commands. The mobile devices send sweet-spot parameters to the loudspeaker system in response to the sweet-spot commands.

Abstract: A speaker assembly is provided having a plurality of transducers disposed on a speaker body and configured to produce an audio beam being steerable based on at least one audio beam parameter. A light assembly is arranged on the speaker body and configured to produce a light output that varies based at least one audio beam parameter. The light output varies to provide a visual reference as the audio beam is steered.

Abstract: An audio system is provided. The audio system has a first speaker assembly having a first steerable audio beam and a second speaker assembly having a second steerable audio beam. A control system is in communication with the first and second speaker assemblies and is programmed to receive a sweet-spot input signal indicative of a sweet-spot area having stereo surround sound. The controller commands the first and second speaker assemblies to adjust at least one of parameter of the first and second steerable audio beams so that the second steerable audio beam intersects the first steerable audio beam to form the sweet-spot area at the intersection.

The computing system displays a variation control gallery containing variation controls in a class associated with a selected one of the class controls. In response to a selection of a variation control in the variation control gallery, the computing system applies a command associated with the variation control to a document in the document area.

Abstract: Techniques are directed to a cloud-integrated enterprise-class data storage array. It includes (a) an enclosure, (b) a set of storage drives mounted in the enclosure, (c) network interface circuitry mounted in the enclosure, the network interface circuitry communicatively connecting the cloud-integrated enterprise-class data storage array to a network to form a distributed virtualized computing environment, and (d) a redundant set of storage processors mounted in the enclosure. The redundant set of storage processors are configured to (1) process data storage operations directed at the set of storage drives in a highly-available and deterministic manner and (2) operate a cloud storage management node of the distributed virtualized computing environment to manage assignment of logical disks to respective virtual machines of the distributed virtualized computing environment, the logical disks including storage from the set of storage drives. A method and computer program product are also provided.

Abstract: A surgical method for exposure of the sacroiliac joint using a posterior approach begins with a longitudinal incision over the posterior iliac crest, centered on the posterior iliac spine. Holes which will be used to repair the iliac osteotomy are made obliquely from the medial to lateral to cross the plane of exposure. A cut through the bone is made lateral to the drill holes and centered over the sacroiliac complex with the aid of fluoroscope or radiograph imaging. The medial part of the iliac crest is freed from the back of the sacrum and displaced medially for the sacroiliac joint complex to be inspected, debrided, or curettaged for fusion. The closure and subsequent healing are facilitated by the predrilled oblique holes. These are used to re-attach the medial iliac bone to the remaining lateral ilium.
