Publication number: 20230251001Abstract: A heating and cooling device includes a thermoelectric module that is configured to move heat to or from a conductive surface thereof in response to low voltage power applied to the thermoelectric module. A composite structure is configured to conductively transfer heat between the thermoelectric module and the body. The composite structure includes a graphene sheet material that has an interfacing portion that is thermally coupled with and overlaying the conductive surface of the thermoelectric module. A high thermal conductivity isotropic cladding is disposed at least partially over an outlying portion of the graphene sheet material outside of the interfacing portion. The isotropic cladding conductively transfers heat in a direction orthogonal to a planar extent of the graphene sheet material with a higher thermal conductively than the graphene sheet material in this direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 3, 2023Publication date: August 10, 2023Inventors: Charles J. Publication number: 20170268803Abstract: A direct insertion ground loop heat exchanger, comprising an at least partially hollow pointed driving tip having at least one orifice therethrough for dispersing water through the driving tip to ease insertion into the ground, such that placing the driving tip onto the ground and urging water through the orifices will separate and part the ground easily, permitting the insertion of the driving tip deeper and deeper into the ground in combination with a hollow outer tube having an inner diameter attached to the driving tip, said tube extending upwardly from out of the driving tip and terminating above the ground for accessibility. Therefore, by urging water through the direct insertion ground loop heat exchanger, water sprays out from orifices in the driving tip, making insertion into the ground quite simple and easy.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 13, 2015Publication date: September 21, 2017Inventor: Charles J Cauchy
