  • Patent number: 3961443
Abstract: A cover for nursery and flower pots is constructed from a thin flexible plastic material having a plurality of holes therein through which water and nutrients may be supplied to the stock. A circumferential lip about the outside perimeter of the cover is adapted to fit over the top of a pot and secure the cover thereto. The cover is formed with a plurality of annular steps which are graduated in depth toward the open center. The cover is in one piece with a single radially extending slit or separation to permit the cover to be opened for placement on a pot containing growing stock. A flexible tab which secures to a knob on the outside circumference of the cover serves to lock the cover in place.
