  • Patent number: 12260940
Abstract: Healthcare object (HCO) discriminator systems and methods are presented. Systems can obtain a digital representation of a scene via a sensor interface. An HCO discriminator platform analyzes the digital representation to discriminate objects within the scene as being associated with a type of HCO or as being unrelated to a type of HCO. Once the HCO recognition platform determines that a type of HCO is relevant, it instantiates an actual HCO. The HCO can be routed to one or more destinations based on routing rules generated from a template or based on the manner in which the objects in the scene were discriminated.

  • Patent number: 12251627
Abstract: Disclosed is a system for controlling a robot via a foot-operable controller. The foot-operable controller includes a grid of large pressure-sensitive tiles that are responsive to being stepped on. Signals from the pressure-sensitive tiles are provided to a controller interface that converts the signals to control messages compatible with existing robot control interfaces, such as a universal serial bus. The foot-operable controller may be used to control various robots, including for example a robot equipped with a claw arm or a robot equipped with a ring launcher.

  • Patent number: 12244635
Abstract: A method includes scanning a plurality of hosts in a network to obtain risk information of each instance of vulnerability associated with each host during a period, calculating a vulnerability risk score (VRS) for each instance of the vulnerability based on the associated risk information, determining a number of vulnerabilities associated with each of the plurality of hosts during the period, obtaining a criticality score of each of the plurality of hosts, obtaining for each host, a representative VRS based at least in part on the VRS for each instance of vulnerability associated with the host, calculating a host risk score (HRS) for each host based on the representative VRS, the number of vulnerabilities and the criticality score of the host, calculating a network risk score (NRS) for the network based on the HRSs, and facilitating a security action based on the HRS for each host and the NRS.

  • Patent number: 12186581
Abstract: The invention is method comprising the use of an external photic stimulator treat and/or prevent pain in a subject, such as migraine headache, dental pain, and/or other sources of cranial pain. The presently disclosed method includes treating the pain externally through the cheek, over the zygomatic arch and area of the trigeminal ganglion. The external photic stimulation is believed to inhibit excessive firing of trigeminal ganglion circuits, preventing the excessive expression of calcitonin gene-related peptides and/or other inflammatory manifestations of the pain.

  • Publication number: 20240391846
Abstract: In embodiments, the present invention relates to liquid formulations containing hydrophobic, biodegradable polymers dispersed within a Non-aqueous Organic Solvent Delivery System (NOSDS) that is designed to coat fertilizer granules with a hydrophobic film utilizing simple application equipment such as mixers, blenders and tumblers. This film can impede the dissolution of fertilizer components by water improving fertilizer efficiency. The NOSDS can be aprotic solvents, protic solvents and mixtures of protic and aprotic solvents which are environmentally friendly, have flashpoints above 145° F., and are inherently rated safe for contact with humans and animals. The hydrophobic polymers are the reaction product of aldehyde(s) and nitrogen containing compounds.

  • Patent number: 12079289
Abstract: Systems and methods for recommending content to an online service subscriber are presented. For each subscriber, content items that were the subject of the subscriber's prior interactions are projected, via associated embedding vectors, into a content item embedding space. The content items, via their projections into the content item embedding space, are clustered to form a plurality of interest clusters for the subscriber. A representative embedding vector is determined for each interest cluster, and a plurality of these embedding vectors are stored as the representative embedding vectors for the subscriber. The online service, in response to a request for recommended content for a subscriber, selects a first representative embedding vector associated with the subscriber and identifies a new content item from a corpus of content items according to a similarity measure between the first representative embedding vector and an embedding vector associated with the new content item.
