  • Publication number: 20210117842
Abstract: Systems and methods for training and utilizing constrained generative models in accordance with embodiments of the invention are illustrated. One embodiment includes a method for training a constrained generative model. The method includes steps for receiving a set of data samples from a first distribution, identifying a set of constraints from a second distribution, and training a generative model based on the set of data samples and the set of constraints.

  • Patent number: 5110246
Abstract: A hat-shaped push-on fastener for telescopic application to a male member comprises a single piece structure with an annular flange defining a washer-like base and an inverted cup with the bottom of the cup constituting the top of the hat formation. The side wall of the cup is a cylindrical sleeve perpendicular to the washer-like base and adatped to closely surround the male member to which the fastener is telescopically applied. A pair of relatively rigid and inflexible teeth have tips extending radially inward and axially upward. The teeth are located on diametrically opposite sides of the sleeve and are struck inwardly from the metal of the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 4925351
Abstract: A fastener clip for positioning in a preformed aperture in a workpiece to receive a threaded fastener comprises a planar head having opposed faces with a threaded opening extending between the faces and a pair of resilient legs joined to opposite ends of the faces. The legs each have a body extending away from the head angularly and terminating in a free end located to engage the shank of the threaded fastener extended through the opening. A pair of resilient tab members are integral with each leg and extend outward of the respective leg in a direction away from the free end to a terminal end bent inwardly of the respective leg toward the head. At least a portion of each tab member extends to a point outwardly of the maximum radial extent of the associated leg at a location adjacent the head with the terminal end having a radial position closer to the opening than the first end of the legs.

  • Patent number: 4911594
Abstract: A push-nut type fastener for use on a threaded stud comprises a thin planar metal plate having an aperture formed therethrough with its axis perpendicular to the plane of the plate. A first plurality of resilient fingers is formed integrally with the metal plate to extend radially inward from the periphery of the aperture at uniformly spaced locations with the inner ends of the fingers located generally on an imaginary circle having a diameter substantially less than the crest diameter but greater than the root diameter of the threaded stud. A second plurality of resilient finger members extends radially inward from the periphery of the aperture at locations intermediate the resilient fingers in the first plurality.

  • Patent number: 4300866
Abstract: A one-piece spring washer for use with threaded fasteners such as screws has a self-retention feature whereby, once positioned on the screw, it remains firmly in place. The washer comprises an annular body defining a central aperture for receiving the screw shank and a plurality of thread engaging teeth bent up from the body about the aperture for holding the washer in place. Each tooth has a helical thread confronting edge having a pitch that is steeper than, and in the opposite sense of, the pitch of the screw thread so that the teeth extend crosswise of and grip the crest of the thread. A plurality of spring elements are bent up from the washer body outboard of, but in the same direction as, the teeth. The spring elements, which flex downwardly when the screw is tightened against a workpiece, load the screw axially to resist loosening of the screw.

  • Patent number: 4270777
Abstract: A releasable hose fitting comprises a male member that mounts on the end of a flexible hose and a complementary female member that mounts on a hose receiving nipple. The male member includes a pair of arms that extend along the side of the hose and that include inwardly projecting barbs that grip the hose walls to hold the member on the hose. The male member also includes a pair of relatively resilient wings that extend along the side of the hose and that include outwardly projecting noses. The female member has a cup-like configuration including a wall portion defining an entrance opening in which the male member is received. A locking rim is formed on the inside surface of the wall portion. As the male member is pushed into the female member, the wings deflect inwardly until the noses clear the rim, whereupon they snap outwardly and lock behind the rim. The male member is released from the female member simply by squeezing the wings inwardly sufficiently for the noses to clear the rim.
