  • Publication number: 20240117388
Abstract: Enzymes and recombinant host cells for the biosynthesis of clinically important prenylated polyketides of the cannabinoid family are provided. Using readily available starting materials, heterologous enzymes (e.g., bacterial CoA-transferases and CoA-ligases) are used to direct cannabinoid biosynthesis in host cells such as recombinant yeast cells.

  • Publication number: 20240075304
Abstract: A medical device includes wake circuitry and telemetry circuitry. The wake circuitry is configured to receive a first set of data from a device associated with the medical device, where the first set of data is received at a frequency band. The wake circuitry is configured to output a set of pulses based on the first set of data. The wake circuitry is configured to detect a data pattern using the set of pulses. The wake circuitry is configured to output an activation signal in response to a determination that the data pattern satisfies a data pattern requirement. The telemetry circuitry is configured to output a second set of data in response to receiving the activation signal. The second set of data is transmitted at the frequency band. The telemetry circuitry is configured to establish a communication session with the device using the second set of data.

  • Publication number: 20200000007
Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for the automation of seed planting and analysis comprising automated planting of the seeds, germination, and analysis. The methods generally comprise conveying containers containing seeds to an automated seed planting station, wherein each container includes a machine-readable tag, planting at least some of the seeds in the container onto respective planting trays, wherein each planting tray includes a machine-readable tag, allowing the seeds to germinate, and analyzing the germinated seeds. The systems generally comprise a seed planting system and a planting verification and correction system. Also provided herein are backlit templates comprising a light source and a power interface configured to connect to a power source to power the light source.

  • Patent number: 4805820
Abstract: A portable receptacle is useful for carrying prophylactic packages. The receptacle is comprised of a generally oval shaped casing closed on one end. Margins of the package are folded over and the package is inserted into the receptacle. The package margins tend to return to their unfolded attitude, thereby exerting force on the casing walls. The package restoring force frictionally resists unintentional removal of the package. One casing wall is formed with a large cutout for facilitating package identification and removal. A cover is pivotable on the casing between the closed position overlying the casing cutout wall and open end, and an open position exposing the package and uncovering the casing open end.
