    Abstract: An enteral feeding tube assembly for the administration of fluids to a patient having a semi-rigid stylet guide wire for assisting in the insertion of the feeding tube into the patient's stomach and having a distal orifice for exit of the fluid from the tube. Means are provided for retaining the stylet wire within the tube and restricting access of the end of the stylet wire to the orifice no matter what the size or configuration of the orifice.
