  • Patent number: 5730326
Abstract: An aerosol can comprising a rigid housing (11), a lid (12), a valve (13) arranged on the lid, and a flexible bag (14) connected to the valve and containing the substance to be dispensed. The valve comprises a discharge channel (19) through which the substance to be dispensed is fed, and a side air inlet (20). Said valve further comprises a mixing device (100) interconnecting the side pressurized air inlet and the discharge channel to form a uniform air/substance mixture. The valve can be placed in a series of positions, i.e. a closed position in which the channel and inlet are sealed, a flushing position in which only the inlet is open, and an operative position in which both the channel and the inlet are open. In the flushing position, air is expelled through the outlet to remove the substance remaining therein.

  • Patent number: 5343904
Abstract: A device for pressurizing an aerosol can (11) in order to refill it with propellant gas (10) comprises a housing (12) containing an air compressor (14) which consists of a cylinder (15), a driving motor (16) and a plunger, a filling nozzle (18) for injecting pressurized air into the aerosol can, a mechanism for activating said compressor when a can is fitted to the filling nozzle, and a mechanism for deactivating said compressor when the air injected into the can reaches a predetermined pressure. A coupling member is provided for coupling the device and the aerosol can when the latter is positioned in a seating (17).

  • Patent number: 5321865
Abstract: The oral hygiene device of the invention comprises an interchangeable end and a body (10) extended to take said end. The end may be either a movable one carrying a toothbrush or a fixed one (11) consisting of a nozzle designed to emit a pulsed jet of water generated by a pump fitted in the body (10). The movable end is designed to be given a linear and pivoting alternating movement by a drive mechanism (15) actuated by a motor (16) fitted inside the body (10).

  • Patent number: 4746808
Abstract: The generator unit is driven by a small Pelton turbine (10) having a plurality of injectors (11) each comprised of a single tubular part connected to a ring-shaped distribution chamber. The turbine wheel drives a multiphase synchronous generator (20) having permanent magnets. The alternating voltages produced by the generator are rectified in order to obtain a direct voltage of 24 V. The water flow rate is regulated at the input of the turbine by means of a regulation valve (13) controlled by an electronic regulation unit (23), to automatically control the power of the generator unit as a function of the output voltage variations. Said portable generator unit, which is extremely simple and reliable may be provisionally or permanently used wherever a pressure water connection is available.

  • Patent number: 4550718
Abstract: The present invention relates to a facial massage device comprising a support formed of a handle (11) terminated by a curved section (12) which supports a massage plate (13) in which there are provided a series of openings (15) intended to retain rotary massage balls (14). A central ball (17) is connected by a rod (18) to a ball joint (19) embedded in a socket (20) in the part (12) of the handle (11). The balls (14) protrude extensively from the plate (13) which serves as support for them, and the assembly consisting of the ball and plate (13) is highly movable with respect to the handle (11) due to the double articulation formed by the central ball (17) and the ball joint (19).

  • Patent number: 4469094
Abstract: A skin massage device for both massaging skin and applying a cosmetic product through retractable protuberances on the massaging surface. A first plurality of the protuberances are retractable into the massing surface, and include a piston with an outlet opening in its exterior side. A rod affixed to a housing in the massaging surface is engaged by the piston and this seals the opening. Upon massaging pressure applied to an annular bead on the piston, the piston is retracted into the massaging surface, opening the piston opening and permitting exit of cosmetic product. The piston extends into a housing supported at the massaging surface and the housing communicates into the reservoir for being filled. The piston includes a side wall which blocks communication between the housing and the reservoir when the piston is retracted, whereby cosmetic product in the housing is forced out the opening in the retracted position of the piston.
