  • Patent number: 4974377
Abstract: A light-weight, integrated enclosure and fully-adjustable mounting and support system for transport and use of mobile electronic equipment in the field. A curved upper shell and flat base of sandwich panel construction are connected by reinforced plastic members to form a lightweight enclosure which can be mounted on a truck for transport. The fully adjustable mounting and support system includes rails mounted within the enclosure on which a series of frame elements are horizontally movable to accomodate electronic equipment of varying widths between the frame elements. The frame elements are also lightweight extrusions and include an elastomeric pad engaged in a vertical channel to provide infinite vertical adjustability in mounting the equipment to the frames. The enclosure is shaped for efficiently housing the equipment, reducing aerodynamic drag, and providing superior structural strength and stiffness.

  • Patent number: 4434912
Abstract: Apparatus for supporting a stack of veneer sheets with the top of such stack at approximately the level of pinch roll mechanism in a dryer feeder. An accumulator in the apparatus may be actuated to support a remnant stack of veneer sheets at proper elevation, and with freeing of a platform in the apparatus whereby it may be lowered to have deposited thereon a new stack of sheets.

  • Patent number: 4129231
Abstract: A readily disassemblable gun for dispensing multiple fluidic components to a mixer includes a handle having an upper barrel. A head asembly is detachably connected to a rear end of the barrel. The head assembly extends flexible, fluid transporting tubes to a forward portion of the barrel and a detachable cap is secured to the forward end for defining an initial mixing chamber between the extended ends of the tubes and a conduit extending from the cap. Fluid components to be mixed are introduced from a supply source through individual tube communicating passages in the head assembly through the tubes to the initial mixing chamber. After initial mixing, the fluidic components are dispensed into an elongate mixer for additional mixing and ultimate discharge. A trigger lever is mounted on the handle and includes a member which normally deforms the tubes for preventing flow of fluidic components therethrough and into the initial mixing chamber.

  • Patent number: 4034964
Abstract: A fluidic mixer for commingling fluidic materials including a conduit having a first end and a second end which loosely receives an elongate spiral rod. The spiral rod is formed with a core extending axially and substantially the length of the rod to define a closed center. Multiple helical flights are integrally joined to the core and have peripheral diameters dimensioned less than the inside diameter of the conduit. Notches are provided in alternate peripheral edges of the helical flights so that fluidic materials introduced in the conduit may travel in a spiral path defined by the helical flights, a path between the peripheral diameter and the inside conduit diameter and a path across the notches to thereby effect continuous and complete commingling of the fluidic materials.
