    Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for disintegrating bales of agricultural material such as hay. The apparatus has a chassis with a bale receptacle mounted thereon. A disintegrator is mounted in the bale receptacle and is adapted to disintegrate baled crop material in the bale receptacle and discharge the processed baled material out of the bale receptacle. A manipulator is mounted in the processing tub above the disintegrator adapted to manipulate the baled crop material in the bale receptacle to expose different parts thereof to the disintegrator and a passive support means is provided in the bale receptacle above the disintegrator. The manipulator and passive support means are positioned on opposing sides of the disintegrator to facilitate maintenance of the baled crop material above the disintegrator such that the disintegrator engages the baled crop material between the manipulator and the passive support means.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an improved conveyor. The invention provides an apparatus for conveying material having an elongated tube with an input end and a discharge end, an intake hopper having a front end secured to the input end of the tube and an endless belt for conveying material from the intake hopper to the discharge end of the tube. Mounted within the intake hopper is at least two augers positioned above the endless belt and external to the input end of the tube. The endless belt and the augers are driven with appropriate drive means. Rotation of the augers conveys granular material in the hopper toward the input end of the tube so as to flood feed the input end of the tube. The granular material is then carried to the discharge end of the tube by the belt. In addition, the invention provides for the mounting of the augers to permit adjustment of the location of the augers within the intake hopper as well as facilitating easy removal and replacement of the augers.

    Abstract: An electromagnetically actuated fuel injector supplies fuel to an internal combustion engine. The injector has a body with an inlet and a nozzle. A needle valve is selectively moveable within the body in response to actuation of the fuel injector. A reduced center-body coil spring is disposed within the fuel injector and biases the needle valve in a closed position. The reduced center-body coil spring has a substantially hour glass shape to prevent rubbing with the components of the fuel injector.
