  • Publication number: 20220029939
Abstract: A computing device and computer-implemented method to provide user-control short message service (SMS). The method begins with accessing, by a server, data in a third-party format from a third-party server. The server and the third-party server are controlled by different business entities. Next, the data in the third-party format is filtered, which has been accessed according to user preferences, the user preferences including a mobile device identifier. Next, the data in the third-party format is converted which as specified by the user preferences into a format compatible with the SMS protocol or an instant message for receipt by a messaging app. Finally, the data is sent in which has been converted into the SMS format or instant message to the mobile device as specified by the mobile device identifier.

  • Patent number: 4830938
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention an improved secondary battery is disclosed which consists of at least two and preferably three or more cells in series, each intermediate cell containing a pair of shared carbonaceous electrodes, each electrode being a carbonaceous body of a length to be inserted into adjacent cell, forming the positive electrode in one cell and the negative electrode in the adjacent cell. Each terminal cell in said series having a second electrode of a carbonaceous material providing a connection to complete the flow of stored energy out of and charge energy into said cell series. Each cell has a formaninous separator between each pair of electrodes in said cell to maintain its electrodes in spaced apart relationship. Each cell is a container or compartment of a container and the common electrode connects each cell to the adjacent cell. Each cell is provided with an ionizable salt in a non-aqueous fluid.

  • Patent number: 4224386
Abstract: A small amount of SiO.sub.2 is added to the sodium borate solder glasses of the type previously used to make tubesheets in hollow fiber, high temperature battery cells. The modified glass is more easily ground and has a lower softening temperature. When the powdered glass is fused, to form the tubesheet and sealingly engage the fibers, the fiber-weakening fluxing action of the glass is considerably reduced.
