  • Publication number: 20210112374
Abstract: Systems and methods provide remote control of product functionality and software kits allow firmware development of remote control of product functionality. The remote control may be location-based where the product functionality is based upon the geographical location of the product. Alternatively, the remote control of the product functionality may be based upon proximity of the product to an authentication device.

    Publication date: April 15, 2021
Inventors: Kipling William Fyfe, Gregory Charles Lund
  • Patent number: 10939241
Abstract: Systems and methods provide remote control of product functionality and software kits allow firmware development of remote control of product functionality. The remote control may be time-based where the product functionality is based upon the expiration date and a current time. The remote control may be location-based where the product functionality is based upon the geographical location of the product. The remote control of the product functionality may be based upon proximity of the product to an authentication device.

  • Publication number: 20180338337
Abstract: A wireless sensor pod and associated method use a trigger event to pair with a master device. The wireless sensor pod includes an inertial sensor for detecting physical movement of the wireless sensor pod, a wireless transceiver, a processor communicatively coupled to the inertial sensor and the wireless transceiver, and a memory communicatively coupled with the processor and storing machine readable instructions. When the machine readable instructions are executed by the processor, they are capable of: detecting, using the inertial sensor, a first trigger event caused by the physical movement, and when the first trigger event is detected, transmitting, using the wireless transceiver, a communication to pair the wireless sensor pod with a master device.

  • Publication number: 20040133133
Abstract: A massage vest for personal use. The massage vest has portions corresponding to body areas. The portions include a back portion, a front portion and an upper portion wherein the back portion covers the back of a torso, the front portion covers the stomach while the upper portion covers the shoulders. At least one transducer is coupled to the garment for imparting motions to provide massage motion to the torso while the user wears the vest. A controller is in communication with the at least one transducer to energize the at least one transducer.

  • Patent number: 4717035
Abstract: A composite pressure vessel includes retaining rings at opposite ends of a side wall structure having circumferentially spaced oppositely facing tabs thereon about which longitudinal tension windings are progressively wrapped back and forth in a continuous manner around the circumference of the vessel. Between the tabs at opposite ends of the vessel are oppositely tapered ramp surfaces providing a transition for the longitudinal tension windings from a first diameter axially inwardly of the retaining rings to a second, smaller diameter adjacent the axial outer ends of the tabs, which places the retaining rings in compression in a circumferential direction. Each of the retaining rings has a generally cylindrical support surface adjacent the axial outer ends of the tabs for supporting the generally circumferential extending portions of the longitudinal tension windings thereon. The tabs have sides which taper toward each other in the direction of the axial outer ends of the tabs.
