  • Patent number: 11298559
Abstract: An apparatus for independent readiness determination for AED deployment includes a controller configured to detect an AED enclosure event corresponding to one or more AEDs registered to be disposed within one or more corresponding AED enclosures, where the controller is configured to communicate data for classifying an AED enclosure event into a predetermined event category, and further includes a communication interface configured to communicate a response action in response to data of the AED enclosure event satisfying one or more predetermined criteria for the predetermined event category. A method and a computer program product also perform the functions of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8196500
Abstract: A stitch flap cutting block is mountable to a cutting head of a board blank cutting machine, along with a slotting knife. A sheet of board passed between the cutting head and an anvil head is cut to form a blank for a box or the like. The cutting block comprises a steel body with a cylindrical barrel holding a cylindrical spring block, to which is mounted a blade holder carrying an elongate blade. The blade moves within a transverse slot across the body and is deflectable into the body and may rock about a midpoint of the slot. Impact forces are reduced, cleaner cuts are produced, and re-setting of the blade is required much less often. An alternative stitch flap cutting block is mountable to the cutting head by a separate side arm, facilitating mounting to cutting heads having different diameters.

  • Patent number: 5651908
Abstract: A container composed of a body in which fluid to be dispensed can be stored. The body has a fluid outlet at an upper part to which one end of a flexible hose is attached. An opposite, discharge, end of the hose has a spray lance attached to it. An attachment device, such as a tube, is retained by latch elements in an external recess in a side wall of the body to retain the discharge end of the hose releasably to the body when the container is not in use. The container may be used to discharge liquids such as fertilizers, pesticides or other chemical agents in the form of a spray.
