  • Publication number: 20230000110
Abstract: Edible thermal pressure molded and shaped composites made from the milk of ruminant animals. The composites have combinations of desirable material characteristics. Each composite can be characterized utilizing physical peak compression strength at associated temperature, with specific total moisture.

  • Publication number: 20210290529
Abstract: A method comprising an individual ingesting over a series of days a plurality of nutrient dense compositions, wherein the nutrient dense compositions comprise at least 5% (dry weight) of a nutrient formulation of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids and fiber. In an example the use of the nutrient dense compositions is effective to achieve a blood pressure lowering of at least about 10%.

  • Publication number: 20070212451
Abstract: Novel, edible, pressure molded proteinaceous wafer, waffle, inclusion ingredient, and cookie food products are derived utilizing an engineered batter formulation including proteinaceous materials, water, oils/fats, flavors, and select percentages of carbohydrates. The batter has a specific mass balance ratio that allows the wafers to be consistently manufactured on process equipment that was designed for carbohydrate wafer, waffle, or cookie processing. The novel engineered mass balance-based protein formulation provides a batter that can be pumped, utilizes standard steam port pressure relief systems, and results in a final food product that has marketable organoleptic qualities as a component in fabricated protein bars/snacks, confections, as in inclusion in other foods, or as an independent snack food, frozen breakfast food, cookie, or cone product.

  • Patent number: 6110323
Abstract: A method of creating a number of separate product streams from an agricultural waste material, comprising: providing a starting material consisting of an agricultural waste material; hydrolyzing the starting material with an acid solution at atmospheric pressure, and temperatures not exceeding about 100.degree. C., to create an absorbent, hydrolyzed solid residue and a xylose-containing liquor; reserving the xylose-containing liquor; and delignifying the hydrolyzed solid residue with a basic solution, to create a fiber solid residue suitable for use as an absorbent material, and a dissolved lignin-containing solution.
