  • Publication number: 20210067972
Abstract: Methods for detecting and responding to unauthorized alert messages. In an example embodiment, a wireless device may detect a first system information block (SIB1) broadcast from a base station that includes an alert message flag that indicates that an emergency alert message is scheduled for broadcast in another system information block (e.g., in one of SIBs 10-14, etc.). The wireless device may detect an unauthorized alert based on inconsistent inputs from various base stations, and the server may detect fake or unauthorized base stations or detect unauthorized alerts based on inconsistent inputs from various UEs about same Cell ID, or same PLMN and geolocation, etc.

  • Publication number: 20190340762
Abstract: A method of monitoring skin abnormalities on a skin portion of a patient includes the steps of: receiving a first image data from an image capture device, wherein the first image data includes the first skin portion; identifying a first skin mask corresponding to the first skin portion; identifying one or more first keypoints within the first skin mask, wherein each first keypoint comprises an abnormality on a first body region within the first skin portion; receiving a second image data from an image capture device, wherein the second image data includes a second body region within a second skin portion, and wherein the first and second image data are sequentially captured; and comparing the first and second body regions of the first and second image data to match the skin mask of the first and second image data.

  • Patent number: 10354383
Abstract: A method of monitoring skin abnormalities on a skin portion of a patient including the steps of receiving a first image data from an image capture device and identifying a first skin mask corresponding to the skin portion. The image data includes the skin portion and a first scaling element on the skin portion. The method further includes the steps of identifying one or more first keypoints within the first skin mask and classifying the one or more keypoints. Each first keypoint comprises an abnormality on the skin portion.

  • Publication number: 20190132740
Abstract: In an aspect, a client device in a first network cell may obtain information that indicates a second network cell neighboring the first network cell, wherein the tracking area code (also referred to as location area code) of the second network cell is different from the tracking area code of the first network cell and is not included in the tracking area identifier list of the of the first network cell. The client device may use the obtained information to detect a nearby false network access node that may be imitating the second network access node to lure the client device to connect to the false network access node. In some aspects, a client device in a first geographical location may preemptively obtain a network access node list associated with a second geographical location in order to detect false network access nodes in the second geographical location.

  • Patent number: 8034306
Abstract: A reaction surface array diagnostic apparatus includes a substrate carrying a plurality of reaction surfaces and, a plate having a plurality of wells, alignable with one of the reaction surfaces and forming a fluid tight well about each reaction surface when the plate and the substrate are sealingly affixed to each other in a frame. The plate is formed of a flexible material which may have an adhesive on one surface. Interlocking latch members are formed on the plate and the frame for releasably latching the plate and the frame in a position for sealing attachment to the substrate.
