The computing system may be configured to receive data from network management systems. In one embodiment, the network management system includes a network gateway. Users at venues may access external network resources using the network management system. Further, the network management systems may extract device identifiers from network packets sent from user devices to request access to external network resources. In some embodiments, the network management system may provide transmission control protocol handshake completion data to user devices. In some embodiments, the computing system also receives one or more attributes associated with the venue, user data associated with the user device, and connection data associated with communication between the user device and said external network resource.

    Abstract: An apparatus for treating the skin of a patient by means of light therapy. The apparatus includes a base, a light emitting surface, moving means, and control means. The light emitting surface includes an array of light emitting sources, each source being configured for emitting different rays of light at different wavelengths. The moving means are used for controllably and remotely moving the light emitting surface with respect of the base along a predetermined path and at a predetermined rate. The control means are used for controlling the light emitting sources so that each source emits a given ray of light at a given wavelength, and for controlling the moving means so that the light emitting surface is moved to treat the skin of a patient. Also described is an assembly including the apparatus, as well as a method of operating the same.

    Abstract: A clamping device for controlling rotation of a chair about a support shaft of a base frame and the chair associated thereto. The clamping device includes a mounting block, clamping components, and calibrating components. The mounting block is securely affixed to a bottom portion of the chair and has first and second channels transversely connected to one another inside the mounting block. The mounting block is pivotably mountable onto a portion of the support shaft and is allowed to rotate thereabout. This portion is insertable into the first channel of the mounting block. The clamping components are mounted into the second channel of the mounting block and are operatively connected to the support shaft for clamping the same. The calibrating components are operatively connected to the clamping components for adjusting the extent with which the clamping components clamp the support shaft. The present clamping device provides a wide range of adjustable positions without any backlash.

    Abstract: A residential trash disposal apparatus for conducting waste material from a kitchen area within a building and depositing the same in a receptacle exteriorly of the building. The container is provided with a cover member having a tubular sleeve projecting upwardly therefrom and which is telescopically and slidably received over the vertical discharge leg of a chute which is connected by means of a curved bend to a horizontal inlet leg of a chute which passes through the building wall and communicates with the kitchen area. By raising the cover member vertically until the upper rim of the sleeve binds against the curved juncture region between the vertical and horizontal legs, the cover member becomes frictionally locked in its raised position so that sufficient clearance is afforded for withdrawal of the container for emptying and replacement purposes.
