Abstract: A hemorrhoid banding device for the treatment of hemorrhoidal tissue, the hemorrhoid banding device comprising: a syringe comprising an extended tip, wherein the extended tip has a distal end; a plunger configured to be slidably received in the syringe and movable between (i) a proximal position, and (ii) a distal position; a deployment sheath comprising a distal end and a proximal end, wherein the deployment sheath is configured to slidably fit over the extended tip of the syringe and is configured to move between (i) a proximal position wherein the distal end of the deployment sheath is disposed proximal to the distal end of the extended tip of the syringe, and (ii) a distal position wherein the distal end of the deployment sheath is disposed distal to the distal end of the extended tip of the syringe; a lever comprising a proximal end and a distal end, with the distal end of the lever being hingedly mounted to the syringe; and a link comprising a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the proximal end of t
