  • Patent number: 12123690
Abstract: A fully automated, integrated, end-to-end synchronized and compact manufacturing system produces polymer or metal case ammunition. Manufacturing stations support case assembly, sealing (gluing/welding), final product inspection, cartridge packaging or binning, and loading. Station modularity facilitates rapid changeover to accommodate ammunition of differing calibers. Sensors and apparatus may be provided to place a manufacturing cell in a wait state until all components or materials are received in a preferred orientation for proper assembly. The system may join and use multipart cases, each including a lower portion with a head end attached thereto and at least one upper portion having a necked-down transition to the open top end. Elevator feeders, vibratory bowl feeders, and robotic pick-and-place feeders may be used to deliver components for assembly.

  • Publication number: 20240217138
Abstract: A tile saw includes a saw with a cutting blade, a frame supporting the saw, a table supporting a workpiece and being slidable relative to the frame, and a rear fence secured to the table. The rear fence has an engagement surface and is adjustable between an operating position and a bypassed position. The bypassed position includes the engagement surface of the fence being no higher than even with the planar surface of the table to allow a workpiece to extend beyond a rear edge of the table. In the operating position, the engagement surface of the rear fence projects axially from the planar surface of the table to support the workpiece as the workpiece is pushed into the cutting blade during operation. The fence can be adjusted between the operating and bypassed positions by using any one of a cam lever clamp, pin and guideway, or rotatable latch.

  • Publication number: 20240033954
Abstract: A utility knife includes a housing extending along a longitudinal axis and defining a slot at a front surface of the housing and a blade coupled to the housing at least partially within the slot and movable relative to the housing between an exposed position and an enclosed position. The housing includes a cutter structure extending from the front surface of the housing along the longitudinal axis adjacent to the slot. The cutter structure defines a cutting edge. In the exposed position, the blade at least partially extends from the housing adjacent to the cutter structure.

  • Patent number: 11628587
Abstract: A powered saw assembly includes a base having a top surface, a column fixed to the top surface, and a guide rail supported above the top surface. The assembly includes a saw unit translatable along the guide rail, the saw unit including a rotating arbor to which a saw blade is attachable for co-rotation therewith. A blade guard at least partially surrounds the saw blade and defines an opening through which the saw blade is movable for attaching or removing the saw blade relative to the arbor. A cover is movably coupled to the blade guard to selectively close the opening. With the cover moved away from the blade guard to expose the opening, the saw blade is attachable or removable relative to the arbor through the opening without passing the saw blade through the slot.

  • Patent number: 11350788
Abstract: A cooking grill having a fire box with a cooking region and a panel at the rear or side of the cooking region of the firebox. The panel is adapted to support a shelf above the cooking region, the shelf having at least one prong extending therefrom. The panel has at least one aperture for receiving a respective prong of the shelf, and an abutment, for each aperture, positioned on the side of the panel remote from the cooking region and positioned with respect to its aperture to bear a respective prong of a shelf inserted through its aperture. Each prong of a shelf is inserted through an aperture such that a bottom part of the prong is supported by the periphery of the aperture and a top part of the prong bears upwardly against the abutment to support the shelf in a cantilevered fashion above the cooking region.

  • Publication number: 20210221561
Abstract: A stackable storage system includes a first container, a second container, and a latch moveable between a first position and a second position. The first container includes a projection extending away from the first container along a stacking direction. An edge portion extends from the projection along a plane substantially perpendicular to the stacking direction. The second container includes a recess. The recess receives the projection when the first container and the second container are stacked relative to one another in the stacking direction. The latch overlaps the edge portion with respect to the stacking direction while in the first position to secure the first container and the second container. The latch and edge portion are positioned in a non-overlapping manner relative to one another while the latch is in the second position to permit separation of the first container from the second container.

  • Patent number: 7043800
Abstract: A sanitary door opener in the form of an attachment to the bottom of a conventional door enables a user to pull open the door by engaging the attachment with his/her foot or shoe, thereby preventing hand contact with the door opener. The sanitary door opener preferably is manufactured from a single piece of durable and flexible metal material and is bent to form a front face, a bottom face, a rear face, a top face extending outwardly from the rear face, and a lip extending downwardly from the top face. The door opener is installed easily to a door by sliding the door opener under a door such that the front face contacts the front panel of the door, the bottom face contacts the bottom edge of the door and the rear face contacts the rear panel of the door. Once installed in the desired position, the door opener is secured to the door by mounting the front face to the door's front panel and the rear face to the door's rear panel.
