  • Patent number: 7964794
Abstract: An outlet box arrangement having an adjustable capacity for receiving electric outlets includes an outlet box having a side wall, a top wall and bottom wall extending therefrom defining an outlet socket. A top flange and bottom flange extending from the top wall and bottom wall, respectively, on which flange mounting holes are provided for enabling the outlet box to assemble with an outlet box cover for protecting the electric outlets installed in the outlet socket. Further, the outlet box is adapted to assemble with another in an edge-to-edge manner by securing the flange mounting holes of the two outlet boxes with fasteners, thereby expanding the outlet socket to receive additional electric outlets.

  • Patent number: 6900386
Abstract: An end plate includes a plate member having a main flange extended from a front edge thereof for biasing against a front side of a mounting surface and a guider slot provided on the plate member for communicating an interior of a switch box to outside, and a side cover, which is overlapped on the plate member, including a holding catch extended from an edge of the side cover to mount on the plate member. A side locker includes a side flange for facing towards the rear side of the mounting surface and a driving axle connected to the holding catch of the side cover to drive the side flange towards to the main flange for biasing against the rear side of the mounting surface. Therefore, the wall is sandwiched between the main flange and the side flange to rigidly support the switch box on the mounting surface.

  • Publication number: 20040251043
Abstract: A modular gangable switch box is selectively formed by at least a box modular, wherein each box modular includes an upper panel and a lower panel to define a socket therebetween for receiving a switch assembly in the socket. A side locker is provided on each side end of the upper and lower panels of the box modular for connecting with another box modular in such a manner that the switch box having a desired number of sockets is capable of being formed by selectively connecting the box modulars together.
