  • Patent number: 7693844
Abstract: A system, method and carrier medium for configuring processing relationships among entities of a Financial Service Organization (FSO). The system, method and carrier medium may be used for processing and reporting FSO business data including transactional data. A business structure, which may include the processing relationship between various entities of the FSO, may be defined. A processing relationship configuration program may be used to create a processing relationship structure. A node may be created and uniquely defined to represent an FSO physical entity and/or an FSO function. Nodes structures may be defined to correspond to the processing relationship structure within an FSO. A node number may uniquely identify a node instance in the processing relationship structure. An FSO database table may be used to store the a processing relationship structure information. FSO transactions, such as executing a report, may be generated based on the defined processing relationship structure.

  • Patent number: 7526487
Abstract: A system, method and carrier medium for configuring processing relationships among entities of a Financial Service Organization (FSO). A system, method and carrier medium for configuring Financial Service Organization (FSO) application software. A method and system for the selective identification and execution of a specific processing task for one or more records contained in the one or more Financial Service Organization (FSO) data sets. A system and method for dynamic selection of a database identifier, associated with a database, based on application program requirements in a Financial Service Organization (FSO) business transaction processing system. A system and method for dynamic selection of a database identifier, associated with a database, based on application program requirements in a Financial Service Organization (FSO) business transaction processing system.

  • Patent number: 7363264
Abstract: A system and method for dynamic selection of a database identifier based on application program requirements in a Financial Service Organization (FSO) business transaction processing system. Developers may build application programs for FSO business transactions with increased flexibility to changing business requirements and reduced development time. Dynamic database packageset software may provide functionality to isolate the FSO application program source code from changes to the FSO database. A dynamic database packageset switching table may include user defined keys and their associated database identifier values. The dynamic database packageset switching software may provide functionality to build a key, in real-time with a pre-defined structure, based on application program parameter values, use the key to access the dynamic database packageset switching table to locate an associated database identifier and access an FSO database using the database identifier to retrieve requested FSO data.

The FSO computer system may include one or more processing parameters. A processing parameter may have one key definition, one or more key values with one processing parameter value assigned to each key value. The dynamic database packageset switching table may include user defined keys and their associated database identifier values.

  • Patent number: 7320006
Abstract: A method for processing a request for data in a plurality of database formats is described. The method may include accepting a request for data. A format of the data request may be assessed. The assessed format may be a sequential access data format, a direct access data format, or a relational data format. If the assessed format of the data request is in the sequential access data format or the direct access data format, the data request may be translated into a relational data format. A relational database architecture may process the data request. A result to the data request may be returned. The result may be returned in the assessed format of the data request.

  • Patent number: 6925468
Abstract: Business data (including transactional data) may be gathered, stored, sorted, and/or collated into financial service organization (FSO) reports used by various entities of a FSO. A processing relationship configuration program may be used to create a processing relationship structure between various entities of the FSO. Processing relationship structure information may be stored on a database of an FSO. Nodes may be created and uniquely defined to represent FSO physical entities and/or FSO functions. A nodes structure may correspond to the processing relationship structure within an FSO. In some embodiments, an FSO application program, such as a report program, may be generated based on a defined processing relationship structure. The report records may be arranged in a particular sequence by one or more of the break key fields. Changes to the processing relationship structure may be automatically reflected in the reports generated by the report program.
