  • Publication number: 20120228177
Abstract: Blister shells for packages each have a product receiving area having a substantially round configuration defined, at least in part, by an angled wall. At least one spacing lug is located on an inside surface of the angled wall and at least one anti-rotation boss is located on an inside surface of the angled wall. The at least one spacing lug and the at least one anti-rotation boss keep the plurality of blister shells arranged in a uniform direction during package assembly, and keep products within the blisters from rotating within the blisters of the packages.

  • Publication number: 20040159570
Abstract: A package comprises a housing portion having a cavity for holding an item, a cover portion, and a connection portion connected the housing portion and the cover portion. The connection portion is generally flat and is less in bending resistance than adjoining parts of both housing and cover portions, whereby the package is most liable to bend at connection portion so as to bring the cover portion and the housing portion to each other.

  • Publication number: 20030052033
Abstract: The invention provides a retail sales package adapted for mounting on a peg display. The package is formed of two opposed sheets of plastic. At least one of the sheets of plastic is formed with a cavity into which a card and a product are placed. One of the sheets is printed on its inside surface. The two sheets of plastic are brought into contact and sealed together at their peripheral edges. A hang hole is formed during sealing and has its periphery sealed to form a fused edge. The printed card or paper is placed into the cavity with the product prior to the second sheet being sealed to the first sheet. The invention further provides a method for assembling the opposed sheets of plastic by placing them sequentially on a tool having protruding pins adapted for only allowing selected sheets to be mated.
