  • Patent number: 7690137
Abstract: A device for connecting a wear part to a support thereof on materials handling equipment for public works machines, comprises a key placed in an axial alignment with regard to an elastically deformable sleeve placed in part of an adapter. The key has a key foot and a key head on either side and opposite ends of a body. The key head is arranged with a part forming an off-centered seat. The key foot comprises an anchoring element for temporarily penetrating into the elastically deformable sleeve. Rotation of the key causes its misalignment with regard to its initial axis and the tight securing of the key, either in the sleeve by anchoring, or against metal parts of the tooth and of the adapter on differentiated support zones.

  • Patent number: 7523572
Abstract: An assembly for coupling wear parts to support tools for heavy-construction machinery includes a tooth and an adapter with a key connection. The tooth and the adapter have complementary support profiles located in different planes and disposed between respective contact and connection ends. The profiles are arranged in a symmetrically opposing manner on upper and lower faces of a nose of the adapter and the tooth.

  • Patent number: 7086185
Abstract: In a device for coupling a tooth onto an adaptor nose with a key, the tooth includes a skirt shrouding the adapter nose beyond the key passage zone and having a configuration connected to a return wall, comprising a bordering ridge. The wall is provided in the width of the skirt and corresponds to the passage and positioning of the key. Proximate the ends of the wall, and in the thickness of the skirt, are provided passage openings for the key devoid of abutting function in operation and ensuring a guiding and stopping function only when the key is inserted or removed. The key comprises two components transversely mobile relative to each other.

  • Patent number: 6491469
Abstract: Apparatus for joining a tooth to an interlocked adaptor of a construction tool having a keyway passing through the interlocked tooth and adaptor. An L-shaped elongated key is inserted into the keyway so that the two sides of the key form a channel with the keyway which is filled with an elastic filler material. The key also has recessed areas which form recesses with the keyway which are also filled with the elastic filler material. One end of the key contains a plug to prevent the filler material from passing out of the channel.

  • Patent number: 5815993
Abstract: Device for anchoring the foundation of a structure in the ground comprising an anchor (1) and a pull line (8) along an axis (ZZ'), the end (19) of a terminal portion (18) thereof being integral with a fastener (9) secured to the body of the anchor (1). The body comprises a front wing element (2) shaped to go into the ground along an axis (XX') and a rear wing element (3) opposing the pull of the line (8) by abutment in the ground once the anchor is tilted in the ground. In one embodiment, the fastening location (9) is offset to the axis (ZZ') of pull in the direction of the axis (XX') of the anchor body (1). The anchoring device comprises a component (7) for guiding the terminal portion (18) of the pull line (8) between the fastening location (9) and the axis of pull (ZZ'), whereby the fastener is offset. The anchor body (1) comprises a fin-shaped element (6) located on the other side of the plane of the front wing element (2) in relation to the guide component (7).

  • Patent number: 5778571
Abstract: The device is distinctive in that tooth (D) and matching adapter (A) are both designed with matching shapes to allow, after assembly, the formation and definition of one or more spaces (V) of variable shape, as appropriate, the adapter and tooth being made with one or more openings allowing the filling and application of a special-purpose material (M) in the above-mentioned space(s), said special-purpose material fulfilling the functions of locking the tooth relative to the adapter by absolute contact between the tooth and adapter by forming a contact cushion that ensures distribution of the stresses and strains in all the areas filled by the material.
