  • Publication number: 20230000708
Abstract: A medical station includes a cassette system provided at a moveable cart. The cassette system includes locking drawers and sensors, each associated with one of the locking drawers. A computer system provided at the moveable cart includes an input device. The computer system receives data from the sensors to determine a position of each of the drawers and prevent a second one of the drawers from moving into an opened position when a first one of the drawers is in the opened position.

  • Patent number: 11439555
Abstract: The invention includes a medical technology station and a method for using the medical technology cart. The station can be a portable cart that can be movable, such as rollable, and has a computer system. Attached to the cart is a housing that communicates with the computer system. Insertable in the housing is a cassette system that includes a series of drawers. The drawers are openable and preferably closeable on command from a user. The drawers have a readable unique drawer identifier that is readable by sensors in the cassette. The cassette also preferably includes proximity sensors, while the drawers contain a target for the proximity sensors. In use, an operator, with proper credentials, can, though the computer system, identify a drawer to be opened by the computer system. The cassette and drawers can be removed from the housing and transported to another location for filling of the drawers with medications or other supplies.

  • Patent number: 10705945
Abstract: A plurality of computing resources are provisioned for a plurality of computing system elements based at least in part on input specification information, whereby the input specification specifies the plurality of computing resources. The plurality of computing resources include one or more computing resources of a first computing system element of the plurality of computing system elements that are provided for a second computing system element of the plurality of computing system elements. The plurality of computing system elements are evaluated to identify whether the plurality of computing system elements are successfully executed and a report is generated based at least in part on the evaluation.

  • Patent number: 10324701
Abstract: Technology for rapid deployment of computing instances from images is provided. In one example, a method may include instantiating a base computing instance and building an application layer on the base computing instance to create a modified computing instance. A machine image of the modified computing instance may be saved. The modified computing instance may be instantiated based on the machine image and a customer-defined configuration may be applied to the modified computing instance to obtain a configured computing instance.

  • Patent number: 6379393
Abstract: The present invention is directed to state-of-the-art medical devices using smart materials and related emerging technologies under development for robotics. In particular, the present invention is directed to the development of rehabilitative (i.e. prosthetic, orthotic, surgical) devices actuated by smart material artificial muscles to increase the dexterity and agility of an artificial limb or a dysfunctional body part, so that movement of the limb more accurately simulates movement of a human appendage. A kinetic assistive device is provided is provided which is constructed of a lightweight material (such as aluminum) and has a plurality of smart material actuators attached thereto. A system for detecting environmental stimulation of the device is provided in electrical communication with such actuators to effect movement of said device in response to detection signals produced thereby.
