Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to an apparatus for pumping suspended polymer liquids that reduces the formation of polymeric deposits at the seal contact surfaces and filters out deposits that do form. This allows for an oil drag reducing agent (DRA) to be delivered continuously from topside through an umbilical to subsea produced fluids flowlines to increase oil production and/or flow of gas/oil by reducing friction loss due to turbulent flow in the flowlines.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing authentication of items such as goods, as they are passed through commerce and change ownership. As described herein, the systems and methods certify authenticity of product origin and provide proof of current ownership by creating a publicly verifiable live audit trail using digital signatures, asymmetric (public/secret) key cryptography, an item labeling system, and a mobile authentication client application to capture information about transactions related to an item, perform transactions and record transactions in conjunction with the back end servers.

The emulsion contains a polyorganosiloxane having Si-vinyl units and a polysiloxane having SiH units, crosslinkable by polyaddition in the presence of a platinum catalyst, together with at least one hydrophilic stabilizing (co)polymer having a molar mass greater or equal to 10,000 g/mol. The stabilizing (co)polymer improves the emulsion's coalescence stability under shear, improves the regularity and homogeneity of a coating of the emulsion on both surfaces of a paper support, and reduces the emulsion's tendency to foam.

Abstract: A system in the form of an aqueous dispersion or granules containing at least one liquid, waxy or pasty non-ionic surfactant and an alkali metal silicate. The system is prepared using a concentrated aqueous alkali metal silicate solution as the continuous liquid phase optionally containing glycerol, in which is dispersed at least one liquid, pasty or waxy non-ionic surfactant that is non-miscible or poorly compatible with said concentrated alkali metal silicate solution, and at least one non-ionic or anionic surfactant that is compatible with said concentrated alkali metal silicate solution and capable of causing the dispersion of said liquid, pasty or waxy non-ionic surfactant(s) in said concentrated alkali metal silicate solution. The resulting dispersion is optionally dried to produce a rigid alkali metal silicate shell encapsulating droplets or particles of the liquid, pasty or waxy non-ionic surfactant(s).
