Abstract: An automated machining system comprising a CNC machine and a processor configured to automatically identify one or more features to be machined into a workpiece to form a part; determine a set of tools suitable for performing a removal operation associated with machining each feature; identify those tools necessary for performing roughing and finishing removal operations for each feature; generate various sequences of removal operations suitable for machining all of the one or more features; calculate a cost of performing each removal operation sequence; determine which of the removal operations sequences is optimal; generate corresponding toolpaths for machining the features into the workpiece; and provide instructions to the CNC machine for automatically implementing the optimal removal operation sequence and corresponding toolpaths to machine the features into the workpiece to form the part. Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure describe systems and methods for managing temperature control in an indoor environment, having a plurality of zones, by a Heating Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system. The method comprises, for each zone, detecting a current temperature value of a corresponding zone, comparing the current temperature value with one of a first threshold value and a second threshold value for the corresponding zone, and determining, based on the comparison, whether the current temperature value reaches one of the first threshold value or the second threshold value, and in response to the determination, triggering one of a first control action or a second control action for the corresponding zone. The second threshold value is one of greater than or less than the first threshold value and a set point range for the corresponding zone when one of heating or cooling is being performed by the HVAC system.

Abstract: A quetiapine fumarate composition for oral administration is provided comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate of quetiapine existing as a suspension in an aqueous carrier agent. The inventive liquid formulation demonstrates high bioavailability consistent with approved dosage forms, low agglomeration, reduced content of excipients commonly used in solid oral dosage forms and extended shelf life stability. Also provided is a method of manufacturing a liquid quetiapine suspension composition for oral administration and methods of administering therapeutically effective dosages of an oral liquid quetiapine suspension composition to patients in need thereof.

Abstract: A system for simulating operation of a stringed instrument using a combination of water and light steams. The system includes a nozzle configured for outputting a falling laminar water stream. The system includes a light transmitter configured to inject light into a first end of the water stream and a light receiver configured to receive the light injected into the water stream and, in response, generate a signal. The system includes a controller configured for processing the signal and, in response to a lack of the signal, for operating an audio system to play a musical note or audio file. The system may include an optical fiber with a first end proximate to the nozzle oriented to receive the light injected into the water stream at the second end of the water stream, and the light receiver can be a photodetector coupled to the second end of the optical fiber.

Abstract: Broadly speaking, embodiments of the present techniques provide techniques for generating haptic feedback or haptic sensations, and in particular to techniques for outputting haptic feedback which varies depending on the input. The haptic feedback is delivered by a shape memory alloy (SMA) actuator that controls the movement of a component based on the required haptic feedback/sensation.

Abstract: Disclosed is a rigging for a saddle, a saddle containing this rigging and a method of making the rigging wherein the rigging has a slot in the rigging material, the slot being large enough for at least a part of a stirrup leather or stirrup strap loop to pass through the slot, the rigging slot having a width for limiting the movement forward and/or rearward of a stirrup that is supported by the stirrup strap loop, the slot in the rigging located spaced downward on the saddle from a slot in a saddle tree of the saddle that supports the stirrup leather or stirrup strap loop.

Abstract: Described is a penile implement that can be implemented as both a catheter device and a prophylactic device. The penile implement is formed of a top polyurethane film, with a bottom polyurethane film that is RF welded to the top film such that a reservoir exists between the films. An adhesive layer formed on the bottom film and a bottom release layer covers the adhesive layer. Further, a hole is formed in the bottom film. Thus, during use, a user may remove the bottom release layer and adhere the bottom film with a user's penis such that bodily fluids secreted from the user's penis pass through the hole and into the reservoir formed between the top film and bottom film.

Abstract: A method for reducing susceptibility to vibration for a storage device is provided. The method includes running a performance test to the storage device over a predetermined range of vibration frequencies and determining there is a frequency of concern for the storage device. The method also includes establishing resonant frequencies of the storage device and determining if a resonant frequency of the storage device corresponds to the frequency of concern. If a resonant frequency corresponds to the frequency of concern, then the method includes reducing stiffness of a plurality of mounting members coupled to the storage device and repeating running the performance test, determining there is a frequency of concern, determining a resonant frequency overlaps a frequency of concern, and reducing stiffness of the plurality of mounting members until one of there are no frequencies of concern and a resonant frequency does not correspond to a frequency of concern.

Each drawer of the plurality of drawers is extendable through a front surface of the chassis and is able to mount one or more side-accessible storage devices. For any drawer of the plurality of drawers bordering a side surface of the chassis, when the drawer is extended all storage devices are inserted to or removed from the drawer through an opposite side of the drawer to the side surface of the chassis.

Abstract: An improved storage device sled is provided. The storage device sled includes first and second portions, each of which includes a threaded fastener, a longitudinal member, and a bezel member. The longitudinal members are configured to couple to mounting holes of a storage device. Each of the bezel members is orthogonal to a longitudinal member. One of the bezel members includes a latching clip and cutouts to receive one or more alignment projections. The other bezel member includes a latching clip receiver, configured to receive and capture the latching clip, and the one or more alignment projections. Each of the longitudinal members includes a hole for the threaded fastener, which retains the longitudinal member to a mounting hole on a side of the storage device. The longitudinal members also include a tapered post, which captures a mounting hole on a side of the storage device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for depositing a film on a substrate includes introducing a material and a carrier gas into a heated chamber. The material may be a semiconductor material, such as a cadmium chalcogenide. A resulting mixture of vapor and carrier gas containing no unvaporized material is provided. The mixture of vapor and carrier gas are remixed to achieve a uniform vapor/carrier gas composition, which is directed toward a surface of a substrate, such as a glass substrate, where the vapor is deposited as a uniform film.

Abstract: A prophylactic device having a base substrate for adhering to a glans of a penis, and a reservoir cap having a reservoir and a flange for adhering to the base substrate. The base substrate may be a thin polyurethane film coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive for adhering to the skin of the glans. A security ring is also provided for adhering to and covering the junction of the bottom edge of the flange and base.
