    Abstract: A covered pitcher for form-filled flexible plastic bags is provided. The flexible plastic bag is normally filled with a potable liquid such as milk, but fruit juices or wine may also be possible. The pitcher has a bottom portion of dimensions so as to substantially accommodate the flexible plastic bag when filled and sealed. The cover fits the bottom in co-operating manner. An opening is formed in the front upper corner of the cover, and the opening has a cutter head mounted therein for upward and downward movement within the opening. The cutter head is associated with a pair of curved and rockable arms which have closer faces that are curved away from each other at least in the upper portions thereof, and are mounted so as to be in close proximity to each other in the lower portions and over a substantial portion of the length of each closer face when the cutter head is moved to the lower end of the opening. A cutting edge is carried by the cutter head.

    Abstract: A hockey helmet is provided, which comprises a plurality of pieces joined together in such a manner that the helmet is adjustable over a wide range of sizes. A pair of side pieces is provided, to which are attached a front and back piece, and over which a top piece is secured. The helmet is adjustable in length, width and height, to accommodate various sized heads. A plurality of structural ribs are formed in the helmet to distribute and absorb forces, and a force absorbing liner is provided within the helmet. A plurality of ventilation openings are included, to keep the inside of the helmet cool.

    Abstract: Protective head gear is provided of a type used in hockey and other activities to protect a participant against harmful and damaging impacts. The protective head gear has a helmet adapted to cover major portions of the participant's head other than his face, and the helmet includes a peripheral brow portion extending between symmetrically disposed temple portions at either side of the helmet. A mouth guard is included for attachment to the temple portions and is shaped to extend from these portions symmetrically across the participant's mouth. An upper peripheral portion of the mouth guard is aligned generally with the peripheral brow portion for underlying a curved eye shield so that on impact the eye shield will be supported by one or more of these portions.
