Abstract: A system and method of treating skin imperfections including a diagnostic tool is disclosed. In a particular embodiment the system includes a diagnostic tool to scan a preselected area of skin of a client to detect at least one skin imperfection and an associative module to associate a skin value to the client. Further, the system includes that a first unadulterated ingredient of alpha lipoic acid, dimethylaminoethenol, vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E, or any combination thereof, is selected based on the skin value, and a second unadulterated ingredient of retinol, alpha and beta hydroxyl acids, or any combination thereof, is selected based on the skin value. In addition, a customized product is compounded using selected first and second unadulterated ingredients and the product is compounded manually by a technician at a point of sale.
