  • Publication number: 20090250522
Abstract: A method of making an electrically conductive patterned film (74), such as an RFID antenna, is disclosed. The method includes the steps of providing a layer of conductive metal (24) adjacent a layer of release coating (20); providing a patterned adhesive layer (400) adjacent a target substrate (42); contacting the layer of conductive metal (24) and the patterned adhesive layer (40), such that a corresponding portion (70) of the layer of conductive metal (24) contacts the patterned adhesive layer (40); and the patterned adhesive layer (40) stripping the corresponding portion (70) of the layer of conductive metal (24) from the release coating (20). The patterned adhesive layer (40) can be formed in the shape of an RFID antenna. An electrical component or a computer chip (80) can be directly applied to the layer of conductive metal (24). An RFID device, such as an RFID tag or label is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4349978
Abstract: A fishing device is provided which in a single structure can be used to perform a plurality of fishing operations, such as a motorized jigging operation, a casting operation, a trolling operation and a motorized jigging trolling operation. The device imparts a lifelike swimming action and oscillatory movement to lures, to baits and to live or plastic minnows. This imparted action and movement is caused by an electric motor in the handle which revolves an eccentric striker arm to deflect a length of line positioned in the path of the striker arm. Two separate control means permit the device to impart such movements to lures and baits of differing weights, sizes, buoyancies and physical structures. The first control is a variable rheostat which varies the angular velocity of the striker arm and thus varies the rate at which the striker arm contacts the length of fishing line positioned in the path of the striker arm.

  • Patent number: 4084342
Abstract: A fishing device having a handle, an elongate rod secured to and extending from the handle, a line having one end secured to the handle and a free end hanging from the rod, guide members secured to the handle for supporting an intermediate portion of the line spaced from the rod, a motor, and an eccentric arm rotatively driven by the motor to engage and deflect the intermediate portion of the line spaced from the rod so that the free end of the line is jigged. The guide members are adjustably secured to the handle so that the attitude or angle of the intermediate portion of the line relative to the eccentric arm is adjustable to vary the line deflection. The rod is secured to the handle so that it may be telescoped relative to the handle to change its operative length. A weight is adjustably disposed on the rod so that the center of gravity of the rod may be redistributed.
