  • Publication number: 20070228803
Abstract: This invention provides a dump truck suitable for working in off-road conditions. The truck tires are very wide and produce a large contact area to spread the wheel loads over a larger area. This reduces the wheel loads, thus reducing the wheel compression into the riding surface. The vehicle is thus able to travel in areas that other dump trucks can not travel, or could cause damage to the driving surface.

  • Publication number: 20040140110
Abstract: A bucket extension for providing the main bucket of a front loader with side extension buckets that extends the useable width of the main bucket for material moving. The extension or side buckets are pivotally connected to the sides of the main bucket. In their closed and stored position the open fronts of the bucket extensions are mounted facing the open front of the main bucket. When they are extended, the side extension buckets pivot 180° about the pivot connection to an open operable position with the open front of the extension facing the same direction as the open front of the main bucket. Locking means are provided to lock the bucket extensions in the open position.

  • Patent number: 6295796
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of removing selected rows of corn out of a corn field which is particularly important for removing male rows of corn in a field of seed corn. The female seed corn rows are left undamaged, as a harvester passes over the top of the seed corn. Seed corn is grown with one or two rows of a male corn which pollinate three to five rows of the female seed corn. Once the pollination occurs, the male corn is unwanted and can cause contamination of the species of corn.
