  • Publication number: 20260081338
Abstract: A device comprises a loop gap resonator having opposing sides and a central opening therethrough; and at least one exciter board positioned over, and at a preselected distance from, at least one of the opposing sides of the loop gap resonator. The exciter board includes at least one metallized layer and a central hole therethrough. The exciter board has one or more cutouts with respect to the central hole that define a geometric configuration, such that a first portion of the metallized layer borders with the central hole at a first distance from a center point of the central hole. A second portion of the metallized layer borders the one or more cutouts at a second distance from the center point that is greater than the first distance. The exciter board is configured to shift a resonant frequency of the loop gap resonator to match a predetermined resonant frequency.

  • Patent number: 12548879
Abstract: Techniques are provided for efficiently coupling radio frequency spectrum electromagnetic energy into a central cavity of a resonator also including one or more loop-gap resonator. The electromagnetic energy is first coupled into each loop-gap resonator. A portion of each electromagnetic energy is coupled from each loop-gap resonator into the central cavity.

  • Publication number: 20250293699
Abstract: A housing for coupling to a loop gap resonator (LGR) includes an interior cavity in which the LGR is disposed therein. The LGR is attached to the housing by at least one mounting bracket, which fixes the LGR in the interior cavity. Additionally, the interior cavity includes a separation region between the cavity walls and the LGR. The widths of each mounting bracket and the width of the separation region is determined in order to support a uniform electromagnetic field inside the LGR.
