  • Publication number: 20150270673
Abstract: A 360° rotatable power grommet mounted in an aperture in a work surface, three vertical copper strips, each connected to a wire which passes through a base to connect to an electrical power source. The copper strips are mounted in a vertical shaft which connects to a base. There are one or more electrical receptacles having arms which rotate horizontally and close to form a central bore, the arms having inner surfaces which are molded with horizontal copper strips, the central bore clamping to the vertical shaft to transfer power from the vertical shaft to the horizontal copper strips, the central bore allowing each electrical receptacle to separately rotate 360° around the vertical shaft.

  • Patent number: 7302982
Abstract: A label applicator including a support surface having a central area and curving downwardly from the central area. A post assembly extends up from the central area such that a label having a label through-hole can be positioned in a support position generally on the support surface with the post assembly extending up through the label through-hole and an adhesive face of the label facing up. Thereby an article having an article through-hole can be positioned over the post assembly so that a flat surface of the article can be pressed and guided against the adhesive face of the positioned label. The curved surface flattens out as the article is pressed down, allowing the label to be smoothly applied to the article. Pins extending up adjacent to the support surface engage in notches on the label and help hold the label in place.

  • Patent number: 7219600
Abstract: An automatic system for removing tea from a teapot is disclosed. The present invention incorporates the use of a timing mechanism, a release mechanism and an infuser mechanism to automatically remove the tea from hot water. The timing mechanism is user set and controls the length of time the tea is steeped in hot water. The infuser mechanism comprises a filter element that holds the tea in contact with the hot water and a counterbalance that rotates the filter element out of the water when released and the release mechanism that releases the infuser mechanism when the time has expired.

  • Patent number: 7059796
Abstract: A retractable writing instrument that substantially prevents writing fluid from evaporating through the tip when the tip is in a retracted position to eliminate the need for a cap. Within the writing instrument is an enclosure member that has a vapor chamber. In the retracted position, the tip of the writing instrument is within the vapor chamber to substantially seal the tip from ambient air so that writing fluid does not evaporate through the tip. The enclosure member has a lip that opens to allow the tip to move forward and extend from the writing instrument so that writing fluid can be delivered to the writing surface for writing. When the tip is moved back into the retracted position the lip closes to substantially seal the tip from the ambient air. An external compression force may be applied to the lip to assist in sealing the lip.
