  • Publication number: 20240145010
Abstract: A processing device in a memory sub-system initiates a partial block handling protocol for a closed block of a memory device, the block comprising a plurality of wordlines. The processing device further sends a first programming command to the memory device to program one or more wordlines of the block with first padding data having a first data pattern, wherein the one or more wordlines are adjacent to a last wordline of the block programmed before the block was closed. In addition, the processing device sends a second programming command to the memory device to program all of a set of remaining wordlines of the block with second padding data having a second data pattern comprising fewer bits of data per cell than the first data pattern.

  • Publication number: 20230381688
Abstract: A sediment capture syphon apparatus for capturing sediment from a borrow site is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a containment basin having a containment basin pump valve and a vacuum tank vacuum valve configured to pump water to a vacuum tank. The vacuum tank is connected to an anti-static pressure tank and a backwash tank via one or more valves and conduits. The containment basin is further connected to a separator tank configured to pull the sediment deposits from a submerged filter. A filter assembly is configured to deposit the sediment in the deposited location. The apparatus further includes a buoyancy lift configured to exert a buoyancy lift float mechanism to float deposit and a waterfall tank to receive water flow from the filter assembly by creating pressure. The apparatus is further connected to an electrical power source to power a battery comprising one or more switches via a wire.

  • Patent number: 11674507
Abstract: A solar powered sediment capture system is disclosed for collecting sediment at environment sites such as lakes and rivers. A mechanical pump directs water from a containment basin to an upper tank and an antistatic pressure tank, both which are elevated. Gravity flow from the upper tank generates vacuum to establish a syphon for drawing a flowable sediment slurry from an environmental borrow site to a filter. Effluent from the filter passes down to the containment basin, which has water level at a lower elevation than that of the borrow site. Anti-static and driller conduits permit gravity flow from the anti-static tank to suspend the sediment and to maintain the slurry at the syphon inlet in a flowable state.

  • Patent number: 9759180
Abstract: A rotary pump that utilizes falling water to produce useful energy. The pump is a conduit in a spiral form mounted on an axis that is set at an angle whereby when rotated, water flows into the inlet end of the conduit and is transported to an elevation. The conduit is powered by an impeller wheel that rotates by falling water.

  • Patent number: 7131639
Abstract: An evaporative cooler, including one or more media modules, distributes water from a source of water to each module through a constant flow valve. A distribution unit at each media module includes a spray bar for spraying water through a plurality of uniformly spaced holes having an aggregate area equivalent to or less than twenty five percent (25%) of the internal cross sectional area of the spray bar. A distribution cap distributes the streams of water to the underlying media module(s) and the water dripping from the media module(s) is drained. A fan or other air moving device draws air through the media module(s) to obtain cooled air resulting from evaporation of water flowing downwardly along the media module(s).

  • Patent number: 4043537
Abstract: An apparatus and method for installing pull lines in conduits and retrieving the installed pull lines with an attached electrical cable through the conduit is disclosed. The apparatus provides a single structure which both installs the pull line and retrieves the installed line with a, for example, electrical cable or a heavier pull line attached. The device features an elongated valve actuating handle provided with a line containing reel. A driving pneumatic force can be attached to the handle operable through the valve portion thereof. The handle is provided with a chamber at its end portion which dispenses both the pull line from the reel, and driving pneumatic pressurized fluid. The device is provided with a vehicle which sealably contacts the walls of any conventional conduit and travels therethrough with the end portion of the pull line from the reel attached thereto.
