  • Publication number: 20240057511
Abstract: A split gauge-wheel assembly for a planter row unit includes an inner gauge wheel carried by the frame and configured to rotate about an axis and an outer gauge wheel carried by the frame and configured to rotate about the axis. The inner gauge wheel and outer gauge wheel define a gap therebetween. A knife is disposed in the gap between the inner gauge wheel and the outer gauge wheel, the knife defining a flow channel configured to deliver liquid at a rear end of the knife. A scraper is connected to the knife and disposed in the gap between the inner gauge wheel and the outer gauge wheel.

  • Publication number: 20080066437
Abstract: A self-supported cylindrical corrugated filter (30) having arcuate side walls (34, 36) having over-lapping folded flaps which are non-adhesively joined i.e. by ultrasonic welding to provide a self-supported filter and a method of preparing the self-supported cylindrical corrugated air filter by using an ultrasonically weldable air filter blank that is corrugated to form a substantially cylindrical air filter (30) having two arcuate side walls (34, 36) with a plurality of open corrugation ends, folding the open corrugation ends to provide overlapping side wall flaps, and ultrasonically welding the overlapping side wall flaps to provide the self-supported cylindrical corrugated air filter and to provide the ultrasonically weldable air filter blank that can be corrugated.

  • Patent number: 6045599
Abstract: A reusable replacement filter includes a folded elongated filter element. The filter has a cup shaped member which includes a base element. The cup shaped member has a continuous side wall extending upwardly from the periphery of the base element. The cup shaped member has an open end. A plurality of longitudinally disposed rib elements are disposed along opposed portions of the side wall. A removable ring is juxtaposed to the open end of the side wall. The ring has a plurality of fingers which extend axially in an offset complimentary fashion to the rib elements. The ring and cup have means for telescopically engaging the ring to the cup. A removable cap closes the open end of the cup member. The cap and cup each have an aperture for communicating with the exterior of the filter. The apertures allow a fluid to be passed through and cleaned by the filter element.
