  • Publication number: 20220027844
Abstract: A device, method and system for implementing hardware-based package receipt procedures is provided. A device is in communication with a camera device configured to image a region adjacent a controlled access point. The device determines, using images from the camera device, that a delivery person has arrived at the controlled access point with a package. The device authenticates the package by comparing information extracted from the images with package order information indicative of one or more of the package and an intended recipient of the package. In response to authenticating the package, the devices implements one or more package receipt procedures to control receipt of the package, the one or more package receipt procedures implemented using one or more of: the camera device; a communication device located at the controlled access point; and an access control mechanism of the controlled access point.

  • Patent number: 10354141
Abstract: Systems and methods for filtering objects of interest associated with an investigation. One method includes receiving a role identifier. The method includes retrieving metadata corresponding to the plurality of objects of interest. The method includes determining, with a classifier, a plurality of relationships between at least two of the objects of interest based on the metadata. The method includes identifying, based on the metadata, a subset of the plurality of relationships that are associated with the role identifier, the subset of the plurality of relationships including a subset of the plurality of objects of interest. The method includes generating a graphical representation including a first indication of the subset of the objects of interest and a second indication of the subset of the plurality of relationships. The method includes presenting the graphical representation on a display communicatively coupled to the electronic processor.

  • Publication number: 20180350344
Abstract: An electronic digital assistant (EDA) detects a user's acoustical environment and substantively varys a content of a generated auditory output to the user as a function of the detected acoustical environment. The EDA receives an indication of an acoustic environment in which an auditory output will be provided to a user. The EDA then generates an auditory output having a substantive content that is varied as a function of the indicated acoustic environment. The EDA then provides the auditory output to an electronic output transducer associated with the user for reproduction to the user in the acoustic environment.

  • Publication number: 20070089383
Abstract: A method of operating a plurality of clean room in a compound within a common enclosure and supplying each room with filtered air by a blower-filter unit by arranging the clean rooms and the blowers connected thereto in two parallel spaced rows with a corridor therebetween, and permitting filtered air to escape the clean rooms from beneath the walls of the clean rooms. Continuous operation of the blowers produces a bubble-like volume of air surrounding the blowers which consists primarily of clean, recirculated air escaping from the clean rooms. By arranging the clean rooms and blowers so that the clean air bubble produced by each blower overlaps the bubbles produced by at least two other blowers, the entire compound can be contained in a highly purified atmosphere consisting primarily of recirculated filtered air. A portion of the air from one or more clean rooms may be discharged in an upward direction through an opening in its top wall.
