Abstract: A method of naming documents according to a document naming convention (DNC) includes receiving, from any of a plurality of data processing applications (DPAs) within an enterprise, a request for a document name and generating a document name “infix” portion in compliance with the DNC for inclusion in the document name. The prefix may be descriptive of a characteristic of the document and the suffix may indicate a document type, a document format, or both. The infix may include a fixed portion and a modifiable portion. The fixed portion may include a datestamp and a document unification identifier. The infix may include a variable portion that can be modified by a DPA that creates a new or modified document, but the name of the modified document maintains the fixed portion of the original document.

Abstract: A consumer-oriented commerce facilitation (COCF) server provides a service that enables a provider to establish a provider profile and enables a consumer to establish a consumer profile. The service accesses a provider profile database and a consumer profile and provides a COCF client application that enables the consumer to maintain: preferred provider information, consumer list information indicating products associated with the consumer, payment account information indicating sources of payment for a purchase transaction, and community information identifying members of a consumer community members. The application enables a consumer to access a preferred provider user interface (UI) that provides links to storefront UIs. The UI enables the consumer to browse and purchase products offered by the provider.

The fluid supply tank has a body portion for holding a fluid to be ejected. The body portion includes a fluid exit port on an exit end thereof and a cover on an opposing end thereof. An internal vent conduit is disposed in the tank between the exit end and the cover for air removal adjacent to the exit port.

A transmitter transmits a request after detecting the SVM. The request includes information indicating the item. A receiver receives a reply. The reply includes information responsive to the request. An output device provides the responsive information to the user. The request may include a request for item position information, item price information, or item inventory information. The mobile device may detect the SVM via a subvocal sensor coupled to the user. The subvocal sensor may be in contact with the user in proximity to a vocal cord of the user. The subvocal sensor may be connected to the mobile device wirelessly or via a wire.

Abstract: A routing policy compiler generates a configuration data abstraction layer of a routing policy which maps configuration to an intermediate layer comprising fields, operators and arguments. A policy repository verifies the intermediate layer against a set of verification rules for one or more client protocols including versions thereof. The policy repository may generate compiled policy transmission language for use by one or more client protocols including versions thereof. The policy compiler supports multiple software versions of client protocols with differing capabilities as well as differing client protocols. In some embodiments, an optimization may be performed on a compiled policy so that route updates are processed more efficiently. The policy compiler may permit the addition of new attributes to a routing protocol without having to recompile. Policy statements may be verified for more that one client protocol including more than one version of a client protocol.

Abstract: A method and system of managing inventory within a store enables an end user to provide an electronic shopping list (ESL) indicating items that may be purchased in the future by an end user to a network resource associated with the store. The end user may be motivated to provide the ESL to the network resource. When the end user provides the ESL, the ESL may be used to predict future inventory needs and/or adjust inventory levels. Information tracking items on the ESL versus items that are purchased by the end user may be maintained to develop a likelihood of purchase factor for the end user. The tracking information may also be used to predict future inventory needs and/or adjust inventory levels.

Abstract: A method and system of facilitating shopping within a store enables detection of a wireless device in proximity to a store, identification of items in an electronic shopping list (ESL) resident in the wireless device, and the provision of guided shopping information to the wireless device by accessing item location data so as to facilitate navigation of the store to locate the ESL items.
