Abstract: A decorative bow and method of making a decorative bow is provided. The decorative bow comprises a plurality of vertically stacked sheets of material and a base. Each of the plurality of sheets comprising a top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of contiguous curvilinear petals. The petals of each sheet are disposed in an alternating curvilinear direction with respect to the petals of each adjacent sheet, and at least some of the petals of each sheet are interleaved with at least some of the petals of an adjacent sheet. The base is attached to the bottom surface of the bottom-most sheet of the plurality of vertically stacked sheets of material. According to one aspect of the present invention, at least some of the plurality of sheets of material are circular in dimension and shape.
