  • Publication number: 20240122080
Abstract: A superconductor device includes a high superconductivity transition temperature enhanced from the raw material transition temperature. The superconductor device includes a matrix material and a core material. The enhancing matrix material and the core material together create a system of strongly coupled carriers. A plurality of low-dimensional conductive features can be embedded in the matrix. The low-dimensional conductive features (e.g., nanowires or nanoparticles) can be conductors or superconductors. An interaction between electrons of the low-dimensional conductive features and the enhancing matrix material can promote excitations that increase a superconductivity transition temperature of the superconductor device.

  • Patent number: 6021374
Abstract: A stand alone terrain conflict detector of an aircraft includes a global positioning system (GPS) receiver, an inertial navigation system, navigational and topographical databases, a control panel, a central processing unit (CPU), which CPU generates position data, a current flight path vector and control signals, an obstacle detector which receives the position data and the current flight path vector and which generates a flight path signal, an alert signal identifying a terrain threat to the aircraft and a projected flight path vector, a video generator coupled to the obstacle detector and the CPU, and a display connected to the video generator. The display outputs one of a 2D image, a first 3D image and a second 3D image and the terrain threat generated by video generator.

  • Patent number: 5147225
Abstract: An alignment and blind mate assist shroud (22) having a body section securable to a connector housing (24) has a protrusion (150) adapted to extend beyond the mounting face (48,50) of the connector housing (24) to key the connector assembly (62) to a particular one of several possible assembly receiving locations on the circuit board (154) on which the assembly (62) is mounted. The polarization protrusion (150) cooperates with an aperture (152) in the circuit board (154) on which the connector assembly (62) is adapted to be mounted to assure that the appropriate connector assembly (62) is mounted at the corresponding location on the circuit board. The polarization protrusion may be provided at any one of several locations to also provide a connector assembly to board keying function.
